WOX Travel Contest | Week 10 | Beach Camping at Ussangoda | 3% that save lives!

How are you guys? Hope you keep well. This week I would like to talk about one of my beach camping experiences. That is Ussangoda Beach Camping. First of all, I would like to say I won 2nd place in the previous week's contest. So Let's move to the story,

Ussangoda Beach is a beautiful camping site located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Also, Ussangoda is a national park. Ussangoda is most famous for the top of Ussangoda mountain...burnt rock fragments are spread there and in some places on the top of the mountain there are thousands of years where not even a grass tree has grown even today can be seen...also many old legends of Sri Lanka The fact that Ussangoda is mentioned even in Also, according to one legend, some people believe that this is one of the stopping points of King Ravana's Dadu peacock plane.Also, the name of Ussangoda can be seen mentioned in many facts about extraterrestrial beings.

Ussangoda is located between Hungama and Ambalantota in Hambantota District, Southern Province. If you travel on the A2 road, after passing Hungama for approximately 5 km, you can see the access road to Ussangoda Beach. Maybe. Although the road is not very convenient, even with a small car, you can easily reach the beach.

Also, there is a small port near the place where Ussangoda Beach camping is done and there is a large field covered with grass in the adjacent area near the beach. Therefore, it is a very common beautiful sight for visitors to Ussangoda to engage in sports like cricket or volleyball in the evening and then swimming in the sea. The water in that place is mostly safe, but because the waves are quite strong, you should be careful not to walk in the sea or do risky work.
