Today started for me at 3.45am when my alarm went off which i first thought was my phone ringing 😆, i got up had a shower and had a couple of quick cups of coffee before heading off to work.

I had to fill up the rental car with petrol and then drove the 30 minutes to the worksite arriving at 5am, after 5 hours of work that was enough for this Kiwi on a Saturday morning - 53 hours worked this week and i don't start again till 5am Monday morning.

We have yet another stunning winters day here with temps around the 24 degree mark.

After work i came back to my apartment and put my clothes in the washing machine and while that was doing its thing i had a Sauna then Swim and finished with a 10 minute spa.

Then i went down the road about 500M to Australia Fair which is a shopping centre to have a look around, i grabbed some sushi and some Lottery ticket's before heading for the exit.

It was then i saw MOS burger which is a Japanese burger franchise which we do not have in NZ, my daughter got given a MOS burger set from her uncle on one of his trips back from Japan.

The set has plastic burger patties and meat/vegetables all made of plastic, you make you own burger and it also has a drink station which makes noises when you press the drink button.

Had to try it and i got the MOS cheese burger which was YUM!

Here is my Salmon & Avocado Sushi which i could only eat 2 x pieces of after my MOS burger, on the right is some scratchie tickets i will take home.

My reasoning is that if we win big we will have to come back to the Gold Coast to redeem then - sounds good to me!

So with the Washing done i can now relax for the rest of the day and enjoy this awesome weather

That has been my Saturday on the Gold Coast Australia....
