Welcome to day 3 of my trip to the Gold Coast Australia for work, today started at 6am when i woke with a couple of coffees sitting on the deck watching the sun come up.

Then at 7.30am it was off to work we go and we arrived at site by 8am, i then proceeded to start checking distances with my measurement wheel - the goal here is to check the computer system travel applied to reality.

We are working at a Liquor Distribution Centre which also has shit loads of bottled water, this would have to be the most of 1 x product i have ever seen - water everywhere!

By 2am all travel checks had been completed and it was accurate so we left site and headed back to the Hotel, then it was my first walk of three.

I walked into the main part of Surfers Paradise(Gold Coast) and was heading for the Q1 building where myself and my family stayed last July when we came here.

On the right is Q1 which is the tallest residential building in the southern hemisphere.

So my first walk to Q1 & back was a little of 9K and then i walked another 1.79K to a friends place who offered to cook me dinner so off i went again.

Dinner was great and also great to catch up with some friends, on Thursday night they have invited me back to watch a game of NRL - Rugby League.

Then around 8pm i left and walked back to where i am staying, from there i went and had a 15 minute sauna and relaxed in the spa pool.

So today i have walked a grand total of 12.7K outside of the walking i did at work, so i imagine all up i walked around 15K today when you include the walking i did checking those travel distances.

Now i am sitting on the deck composing this top 5 post of 2024 😁😆
