Today was another day at the newly opened Woolworths Fresh DC in Christchurch NZ, we even had some sunshine and some magnificent views of the Southern Alps - squint real hard and you may see some snowcapped mountains.

That's why it's so cold here.........brrr!

On the right is the DC i am working in which has only been open 2 months & the place still looks empty, but they are adding new products in the near future.

There is a 2-degree chamber and a 13 degree one for product that require differing levels of refrigeration.

I was supposed to be here till next Friday but that has been cut short as my partners Aunty passed away this morning, so i will go back early and look after the kids while she drives 5 hours each way - she is staying the night and coming back the following day.

Her Aunty was a really nice lady who will be missed by her Family & Friends.

Here is tonight's dinner which i got from a local Kebab shop, It's a Chicken Eskender and cost $22 NZD to buy.

Apart from the above i am just trying to stay warm in my accommodation which does have a great heater - thankfully!
