Amigos, me incorporo en la segunda etapa del concurso de "Fotografía Abstracta" con muchas expectativas. Enseguida me atrajo el tema, eso de capturar imágenes que escapan de un reconocimiento perceptivo que permite identificarlas como algo "familiar" o reconocible. Y cómo estas imágenes pasan a ser consideradas ARTE. El tema da para "mucho que cortar", hoy quiero acercarme al Arte Abstracto desde una mirada psicológica y otra artística.

Me remonté al proceso perceptivo humano. Nuestra percepción se enmarca dentro de campos perceptivos, una obra o pieza artística viene a conformarse como uno de esos campos, mismos que tienen unas leyes de funcionamiento y elementos que la psicología de la Gestalt (de la forma) bien supo descubrir y describir.

Dentro de estos campos, nuestros sentidos captan "estímulos", unos reconocibles "fácilmente" por familiaridad o por que su "forma" nos lleva a "reconocerlos. Estos son llamados Estímulos Estructurados".

Dentro de la percepción, la palabra "Abstracta" remite enseguida los "Estímulos No Estructurados o ambiguos, pues su identificación y reconocimiento no es tan sencillo. Ante este tipo de estímulos, el ser humano tiene la "necesidad" de darles: forma, estructura, sentido.

El Arte Abstracto, desde mi manera de pensar, es una forma de arte que trabaja con campos de estímulos no estructurados a los que buscamos sentido desde la estética, la belleza o por el contrario desde otros estados emocionales como la repulsión o el desconcierto entre otros.

Within perception, the word "Abstract" immediately refers to the "Unstructured Stimuli or ambiguous, since their identification and recognition is not so simple. Faced with this type of stimuli, the human being has the "need "to give them: form, structure, meaning.

Abstract Art

Abstract Art, from my way of thinking, is an art form that works with unstructured stimulus fields to which we seek meaning from aesthetics, beauty or on the contrary from other emotional states such as repulsion, bewilderment among others.
