THE BLOG SPOT - Inspiration for Writers (Issue No. 1) - THE INTRODUCTION

Greetings all, and a very happy Saturday to each and every one of you! Right, so... yes! This post is precisely what it says it is... the beginning of what I hope will be a regular source of inspiration and guidance for any and all aspiring writers and content creators - just like myself! I made brief mention of my intention to head down this avenue with a post I did close to a month ago called "Let's do Better". That posts also outlines a little more of the "why" behind this endeavor.
Whilst sharing my life experience and other random thoughts with all of you - I have also been spending quite a bit of time curating great, good and promising content here on Steemit. I am going to share a little bit about the process I go through when selecting content to share on those curation posts. It may seem a little daft to many when there are easier and far quicker ways to grab posts to highlight - but I sift my way through the NEW feed. It can often take hours to find just two or three decent posts, but the reality is - not everybody here knows or thinks to post within specific communities... they may also consciously choose not to, and for that reason - there is some really great content which often goes unseen... and if that cycle continues, people are likely inclined to give up and leave. That is the part I would like to try and circumvent.
I am not a professional writer by any means - never will be... much like my preference for cooking over baking - because of the whole "too many rules" thingy haha! I have however learnt over the years to nurture a certain quality of writing and though I continue to learn every single day - I do believe that possibly my experience with creative writing, coupled with my career in graphic design could probably help inspire or motivate at least a handful of people to better their blogs - be it here on Steemit or anywhere else.
MY INTENTION
I suppose it would be useful to give a little insight to my intention from the get go. Sure, I want to give writers inspiration for their content etc. (writers block is a real thing people!!! lol) and yes - content and topic ideas is absolutely something which I will cross the path of often! However, that is definitely not ALL I want this series of posts to be about. No - I want to break down all the aspects of writing, look at the formulation of posts, give creative ideas for headers, content breaks, etc. etc. I want this to be something people look forward to reading, because they know they will learn something new and from that - better their own skill set!
When a person has passion for what they do with their day time hours, they cannot WAIT to get our of bed in the morning! It is called PURPOSE and we ALL have ours! Writing, is such an incredibly powerful tool for discovering your own purpose because it allows you to offload in a healthy, constructive and creative manner. It teaches you that expression - of even the deepest kind... need not be volatile, negative of destructive. This is what writing taught me and continues to teach me... so I suppose, what I am saying - is that I would like to proactively share that with all of you.

I have been trying to improve my writing for a long time, I have even read specific books that deal with this, writing and writing courses. But more than that, you learn by reading those who are good, and of course what inspires us, it is about learning to let go of our expression.
It's great when I discovered that we only learn the rules to master them and then break them, I love that, because that's where creativity comes in, the playful and fun...
So I follow you, and I will wait...

Hoping to get to the next piece on this soon! I have had family down from overseas, so my time has been a little diluted... however, they have gone now, so I am hoping to get back to a more routine driven normal, lol.
