Morticia y Gómez. Dibujo tradicional con acuarela. Traditional drawing with watercolor.
Saludos!
Greetings! February is the month of love and I wanted to draw something about it, my computer is broken so I publish it a little late, but after all love must be celebrated every day. I have drawn the couple of Gomez and Morticia Adamms because it seems to me that they make a perfect couple, full of passion and total dedication for each other, I think that all girls want to find love that way, that is, passionate and crazy. The drawing is made with watercolor and pen on cardboard.

Proceso / Process
First, I made the sketch of the characters with HB graphite pencil on the cardboard with little pressure on the paper. It is a free illustration style so I allowed myself to make my own interpretation.
I have to say that the cardboard I used is simple school cardboard, it is not for working with watercolors, however with little water I was able to make use of it, although it rippled and flaked a bit. I started by applying the ocher yellow color to the skin areas.
Later with the scarlet red watercolor I painted the rose petals and the letters with the phrase Love me to Death.
With violet watercolor paint the entire background of the coffin shape that frames the couple.
With the black watercolor I painted all the vertical stripes on Gómez's suit, as well as his hair.
Also with black watercolor I painted Morticia's hair and her dress, trying to make them both differentiate despite being the same color.
With a fan-shaped brush I painted the background making wavy lines with cerulean blue watercolor. I also painted the edge of the coffin with brown watercolor making patterns in the shape of wood.
Using a peach colored pencil, paint the shadow areas of the faces.
With a black pen I gave details to the hair and the faces.
With the same pen I gave details to the rest of the bodies.
With green watercolor I painted the stem of the flower, with black watercolor I gave shadows to the skull. With the black pen I gave details to the figure.
With ocher yellow watercolor I painted the hand, with the peach colored pencil I made the shadows and with the black pen I gave details using patterns.
With a black pen I delineated the letters and with a red pen I made details.

I am happy that you remember me, sometimes I think that nobody remembers me because there are so many people publishing at the same time every day, the community has grown a lot, when I joined I think it still did not reach 500 members, now there are 5000, The first contest was in the fall, five months ago, time has passed very quickly this year of isolation. I hope I can participate in a new contest :)
