-- competition -- HIGHWAY -- 1 -- / sunset photo report
That's how many times it has already happened that when I get in the car, I tell myself that I won't do any filming, that I'm just driving and relaxing, admiring what I see. In cloudy weather, it could have turned out, but somewhere halfway in the sky, something began to illuminate the setting sun, and the camera was automatically removed from the bottom of the bag.
Soon the sun arranged a light representation over the horizon.
And I tried to catch the sunset through the blur of heavy trucks, but it wasn't dark enough yet for them to become completely transparent. Perhaps we should have moved more quietly, but we were driving in the hope of getting to our village before dark.
Something still almost worked out
But this came out better. I rarely have time to shoot pedestrian crossings, and today almost everyone got into the frames.
An ambulance loomed in front of us for a long time and I tried not to take pictures of it, but an oncoming car turned out to be very useful
I really hoped that the sun would not have time to disappear before the moment when we came around the bend to meet him, but it was still far from the turn.
And now the expected turn is finally approaching and my hope of seeing the sun is still alive.
We turned off, but the sun is still almost not visible.
Now I'm going to wait for us to break out into the open, making such fluffy shots. The speed is 120.
I managed to photograph another pedestrian crossing. It took so long to get used to their new coloring. Now these yellow ones seem less noticeable to me than just white ones.
Finally, we are approaching the open space and, it seems, we have time to catch up with the sun.
The goal was achieved, but I regretted the matrix and tried to take pictures through my sunglasses. But I didn't like this filter and I postponed this case until trees appeared on the side of the road.
I can safely shoot through trees, and I generally like such blurry images.
Here we turned onto a road on which you will not be able to accelerate much. It is being repaired in parts, and while salaries remain on some pits, others have time to appear. We drive slowly, but I hope to catch the sunset on the river, which we will soon have to cross.
There was a cyclist standing on the bridge over the river, admiring the sunset, and I managed to perpetuate it.
Then it became completely dark and it was not interesting for photographing, so I spent the remaining five kilometers to my house the way I wanted at the very beginning of the trip, just relaxing and not photographing anything.

Thanks for upvoting. Here's my upvote and a follow
Just learning about this competition which might be interesting to me...
This phrase is not part of the numbered rules, and in so far it is on the one hand not too strange that some of the photos in your demo don't meet this criteria. On the other hand, "main condition" is a strong term, isn't it?
Me for my own part I am declined to play around with this "main condition", and your demo opens the horizon for my doing so (while I am looking for the chance to take part in the next highway-competition).
