Yo. Whatever happened to " your wallet, your steem". Don't worry so much about what others do with their earnings. That type of speculation is a big reason we had so much trouble and Hive was created.
You are absolutely right but I have to correct you it was not us the simple user who posting their humble works made the blockchain split :)
Oh I know friend. The little guys didn't have much say about it at all. I know the speculation behind powering down, I simply suggest not worrying about it so much. Keep creating content.
