ArtVenture Contest: Deers in Autumn

This is my second entry in the ArtVenture Contest and it's a Sketched Painting of deers in autumn. Autumn happens to be the mating season for certain deer species. I saw this beautiful capture of four deers in autumn and I decided to sketch it. I must confess I was mentally strained and didn't like the way I ended it but I very well didn't want to leave it unfinished. I got the twist of using graphite pencils with the painting yesterday and so far in 24 hours I've experimented twice. Now here it is;

• The Deers were drawn with 6 and 10B pencils
• while the sketch was made with markers of colours red, black, brown, dark and light green, yellow and orange.
