So for this contest I decided to showcase how a woman can still show off her beauty even in this trying times.

Process

I'll have you know that I suck at taking progress shots... The issue is that I totally forget to do it because I get in the zone and by the time I remember, the drawing or painting is almost done... anyways... this is how this went:

1. I did a sketch (not pictured) and then cleaned it a bit to get decent lineart.

1. I started thinking about the background and even sketched a bit of the room....

1. But then I scrapped the idea and decided to go with a more abstract background.

1. I turned off the background for a bit, and got myself busy with digital painting bliss.

1. Putting it all together

1. It was at this point that I decided I would not go with the slightly more cartoony look of mixing the lineart and the painting, so here is the final version.
