Aceh Province, Indonesia is an area that has a plateau that is inhabited by people with a background in gardening and farming. There are various plantation crops that they make income for their marginal economy. Coffee, Palawija, Pinang, Chocolate, Nutmeg, Coconut and Rubber to Palm Oil.

In Aceh there are 27 regencies / cities, almost all regions have high altitude areas that on average have enough income to prosper local residents who work as farmers.

In Gayo, for example, the central part of Aceh is known as the coffee and tobacco center, this area covers several city districts, such as: Bener Meriah, Central Aceh, Gayo Lues and Southeast Aceh. Besides being known as a highland coffee plantation center it is also known as a producer of vegetables such as; Tomatoes, Potatoes, Carrots, Col. Interestingly they also have fruit plantations such as oranges, avocados etc.

The east coast region also has a plateau area, where people also live prosperously with the results of their plantations, this area includes several districts / cities such as; Aceh Tamiang, Langsa City and East Aceh. This area has a majority of people in the highlands owning oil palm plantations, but they also focus on areca and chocolate plants such as in eastern Aceh.

Judging from the northern coastal region which includes North Aceh, Lhokseumawe City, Bireuen, Sigli to Aceh Besar, the people also rely heavily on plantation products for those who live in the highlands. Although there are oil palm plantations, Bananas, Coconut and Pinang are more dominant.

Another West-South Coast, their plateau is also very dependent on the economy of local residents, this area is fairly large with districts / cities, Aceh Jaya, Aceh Barat, Aceh Barat Daya, Aceh Selatan, Subulussalam and Aceh Singkil. The plateau in this region is known as a very large oil palm production center, they even have a port for exporting oil palm products abroad.

Now that's the imagination that I can convey to the challenge of @xpilar this time, this is a picture of the highlands in our province of Aceh, Indonesia. They have a prosperous life through its natural products, but unfortunately often when we are interested, our people get unsatisfactory prices, often their commodities are bought at lower prices.
