Photo contest: post processing #19 / Dark thoughts underlined by the scorching sun

I thought for a long time that there is a "Dark" before looking for photos suitable for this task. I thought and thought and realized that not even every very dark photo can turn something into a theme if there is no feeling of darkness in my own head. And so I came across one moment when, under the blinding summer sun, I hid in the shade of an umbrella made of not very dense fabric, and at that moment a pleasant darkness came for me and, having cooled down from the heat, I was carried away by looking at the created moire spots. under the rays of the sun, but which could already be seen through the fabric and the play of shadows from the branches of trees.

Думал-думал и понял, что не из каждой даже очень тёмной фотографии может получиться что-то в тему, если ощущения тьмы не будет в собственной голове. И вот набрёл на один момент, когда при слепящем летнем солнце я спрятался в тень не очень плотного тканевого зонта и в тот момент приятная темень для меня наступила и я остыв от жара, увлёкся рассматриванием муаровых разводов, созданных лучами солнца, но которое уже можно было сквозь ткань смотреть и игрой теней от веток дерева.

It was a dark blue umbrella of a not very pleasant shade. This blue light began to put me to sleep, and then I decided to photograph it in black and white mode to wake up from the surprise of the result. It turned out even better than I could have imagined. It turned out to be a pleasant living darkness, from which I did not want to get out on this sunny day, and I continued to study all the moments through the viewfinder without leaving B-W mode. It was nicer that way, but now I regret that I didn't make a single color frame to offer it here for comparison.

Это был тёмно-синий зонт не очень приятного оттенка. Меня этот синий свет начал усыплять и тогда я решил сфотографировать это в чёрно-белом режиме, чтобы проснуться от неожиданности результата. Всё получилось даже лучше, чем я мог предположить. Получились приятные живые потёмки, из которых не хотелось вылазить в этот солнечный день и я продолжал исследовать все моменты через видоискатель не выходя из режима Ч-Б. Так было приятнее, но я жалею сейчас, что не сделала ни одного кадра в цвете, чтобы предложить его тут для сравнения.

Now I think of darkness as opposed to light. About the moments when darkness wins and keeps the light in check, because light does not always need to be given free rein. We put up awnings, put on safety glasses, hide in the shade and love summer nights for a reason, but because excessive light destroys us. But here, under this canopy, I was comfortable, and I remember almost every moment of being in pleasant darkness. Whether I managed to convey to you what I mean, I do not know. But nothing special arises in my head, except the feeling of comfort and from the photos. But I made them and my memory reminds me, and you weren't there.

Теперь я думаю о тьме в контрасте к свету. О моментах, когда тьма побеждает и держит свет в узде, потому что ему не всегда нужно давать волю. Мы устанавливаем навесы, надеваем защитные очки, прячемся в тени и любим летние ночи не просто так, а потому, что чрезмерный свет изматывает и уничтожает нас. Но здесь, под этим навесом, мне было комфортно, и я помню почти каждое мгновение пребывания в приятной, хоть и синей темноте. Удалось ли мне донести до вас то, что я имею в виду, я не знаю. Но ничего особенного у меня в голове не возникает, кроме ощущения уюта и от фотографий. Но это я сделал их, и это моя память помнит, а вас там не было...
