[Night Photography] - Viewpoint of Boca do Inferno
Hey everyone, how's it going?
Today I want to share with you guys one of my first tries in start photography, back then I didn't have my camera yet so I used my father's low-end camera.

This is a shot I want to redo with my current camera, but back then I was so proud of it, despite the noise that exist in it i managed to pull the sky colors of that day and for me it felt worth it.
This viewpoint is located in Sete Cidades, well known place for photographers because you can see all the lakes from this point. At night time, it can serve a whole diferent purpose. Since this is part of a trail, there is no light at night, it's completely dark and you can see the night sky clearly.
I remember spending about an hour and half trying to work around the settings to get the best picture I could, it was a big challange for me but after the edit I was so proud of it, I'm using this post today has a encouragement to everyone who has a low end camera, do not feel discouraged because of your gear, some of the best pictures are taken with low end material and processed on apps such as Lightroom or Photoshop, praticise makes it perfect :)

Bravo my friend! Your story made me smile. You are so right about the camera, the sensors now on cell phones are better than the DSLRs made 20 years ago. You did a good job of keeping the model/foreground visible, not in silhouette.
It really is the post-processing software. I have been trained on PS/LR but do not use them. I use Affinity Photo and they just upgraded the software with astral start stacking - my next learning project for the summer.

Affinity is great option and much [MUCH] cheaper then having an adobe subscription, hoping to see some great work on your post editing!
You can get a nice artistic effect with old cameras. You did it :)
A modern camera will make perfect clarity and the mystery of the image will disappear. You only get a picture. Although you can also work well with her in the editors :))

A modern camera can also make something mysterious depending on the shot you are looking for, or you can take multiple shots and stich them to make something more conceptual :)
