CONTEST EXCLUSIVE WEEK VIII - COMMUNITY WORLD OF XPILAR | Prionyx parkeri
Prionyx parkeri
Hi, friend
come back with me @digitalals-world
On the occasion of today, I will return to the contest held by @sultan-aceh. I thank @ sultan-aceh for holding this macrophotography contest.
today I'm going to show you again an insect named Prionyx parkeri. Prionyx parkeri is a species of wasp with a waist strap, has a distinctive color on its orange tail. I found these insects when I wanted to cut the weeds around the back of the house.
After I searched the internet, this wasp has a unique way of reproduction, friend, before laying eggs, the female Prionyx stings the grasshopper which causes paralysis. He would then bury the grasshopper in the burrow that he had dug, lay eggs on his body, and then seal the burrow. When the egg develops, it eats the grasshopper until it is ripe, and then pupates.
Here are some pictures I can take to show my friends:
thank you for your attention
regards @digitals-world
