My Weekly Powerup | #club100 | The township (#steemexclusive / 4 photos)
The photos were taken on a walk through one of the townships in Cape Town, South Africa. In the late 19th century until apartheid ended, these townships were often refered to as underdeveloped and racially segregated areas, since they were for the non-white population. When I was in Cape Town, its not only the center of the city that is worth visiting. Also townships and the outskirts with beautiful surroundings.

Great photos @digi-me.
Thank you so much! 😃👍
South Africa is a country with a lot of contrast, there are white population and black, the people who are wealthy and have good live but the same time the areas of poor people. The country is beautiful with its wildlife but on other hand it attracts people who love hunting tourism.
Nevertheless, the photos are beautiful and it is nice to see happy looking faces of local people.

Thank you so much :)
visiting certain areas in this city and taking pics may leave you without your camera and smartphone - as far as I know ;=)
Hehe... true. Better hang on to both! I actually felt Johannesburg were much more unsafe than Cape Town..
A beautiful country with great people, who would surely enjoy a stay.
I love photos!
Cheers!
Thank you :)
