Shinzo Abe was born on 21 September 1954 and he died on 8 July 2022, and his death where he was shot during a political event was a chock for many people in the world. He was a Japanese politician who served as prime minister of Japan and President of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) from 2006 to 2007 and again from 2012 to 2020. He was the longest-serving prime minister in Japanese history.

Abe was a member of a prominent political family. His grandfather Kishi Nobusuke served as Japan’s prime minister from 1957 to 1960, and his great-uncle Sato Eisaku held the same post from 1964 to 1972. After graduating from Seikei University in Tokyo (1977), Abe moved to the United States, where he studied political science at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. In 1979 he returned to Japan and joined Kōbe Steel, Ltd. He subsequently became active in the Liberal-Democratic Party(LDP), and in 1982 he began working as secretary to his father, Abe Shintaro, who was Japan’s foreign minister.

By the time he resigned because of illness in August 2020, Abe had become modern Japan’s longest-serving prime minister. His tenure exceeded that of his grandfather Nobusuke Kishi, who led Japan from 1957 to 1960; his father, Shintaro Abe, also served as chief cabinet secretary, often seen as the country’s second-most powerful position.

Abe is often described as a nationalist, and some claimed him to be a pragmatic realist. He deserves to be remembered instead as one of the great internationalists of his era, the leading architect of collective security in the Indo-Pacific region. Throughout four U.S. presidencies—those of George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden—Abe sought to secure Japan’s position against China by building alliances and institutions. So, building alliances is just about building trust and social relations to many people, and that mission or vision is also due to the different organizations that Abe was a part of. And he was good in politics, and he made Japan being competitive with all the forces and the strong sides of operating as he wanted.

Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, the longest-serving leader of modern Japan, was gunned down on Friday 8 July 2022 while campaigning for a parliamentary election, shocking a country where guns are tightly controlled and political violence almost unthinkable. Abe, 67, was pronounced dead around five and a half hours after the shooting in the city of Nara. Police arrested a 41-year-old man and said the weapon was a homemade gun.

How did the killing of Shinzo Abe really happen? Witnesses described seeing a man carrying a large gun moving within a few metres of Abe and firing twice. The former prime minister fell to the ground as bystanders screamed in shock and disbelief.

Security officers dived on to the gunman who made no attempt to run.

The weapon that killed Abe was made using metal and wood, officers said, and appeared to be wrapped in duct tape.

Abe was the chief negotiator for the Japanese government on behalf of the families of Japanese abductees taken to North Korea. As a part of the effort, he accompanied Koizumi to meet Kim Jong-il in 2002. He gained national popularity when he demanded that Japanese abductees visiting Japan remain in the country, in defiance of North Korea.

He was the leader of a project team within the LDP that conducted a survey on "excessive sexual education and gender-free education". Among the items to which this team raised objections were anatomical dolls and other curricular materials "not taking into consideration the age of children", school policies banning traditional boys' and girls' festivals, and mixed-gender physical education. The team sought to provide a contrast to the Democratic Party of Japan, which it alleged supported such policies.

People around the world are shocked by the killing of Abe, and we are making his name and his body in honor today, and we wish that Japan should be even better and stronger in politics in the future! Good luck to everyone! Japan can compete in the private sector and not in the public sector, and this is the philosophy of how the organizations in question are operating from time to time.

Thank you so much! 😃👍

Thank you for this article, I also heard a lot about Shinzo Abe when there were any big events in Japan. He is the one who is well known to western World. It was a real shock to hear about killing, especially because Japan has such strict rules about weapon.
