Hello friends this is my entry to "Weekly Contest," Creating Stories Week # 3" Thanks @adeljose for this initiative. My story is based on real life events.

Hola amigos, esta es mi entrada al "Concurso semanal," Semana de creación de historias # 3 ". Gracias @adeljose por esta iniciativa. Mi historia está basada en hechos de la vida real.

Maritza was a nurse from a well-known educational institution in the city, where I served as a primary school teacher. The institution had first aid services for schoolchildren who presented any discomfort that could be solved with first aid.

Maritza era enfermera de una reconocida institución educativa de la ciudad, donde me desempeñé como maestra de primaria. La institución contaba con servicios de primeros auxilios para los escolares que presentaban alguna molestia que pudiera resolverse con primeros auxilios.

Once while I was talking to her, 4 children with different ailments arrived and she put them on the stretcher one by one and evaluated them, the next thing she did was she gave each child a glass of water and added a few drops to it.

Una vez mientras yo estaba hablando con ella llegaron 4 niños con diferentes dolencias y ella los puso en la camilla uno a uno y los evaluó, lo siguiente que hizo fue que le dio a cada niño un vaso de agua y le añadió unas gotas.

I was curious and asked her why she gives all children the same medicine. If one had a headache, two had a stomachache and the other said that he felt dizzy.

Sentí curiosidad y le pregunté por qué les da a todos los niños la misma medicina. Si uno tenía dolor de cabeza, dos con dolor de estómago y el otro decía que se sentía mareado.

It is there where he tells me that most of the children who went to the infirmary, presented some discomfort was when they had to deliver some work or present an evaluation. She says it was impressive how many children were not able to attend to all, so she set up a bench outside the infirmary for some to wait while she attended to another. She says that it was necessary for the children to enter one by one, to be able to give them the medicine and they did not realize that it was the same for everyone.

Es allí que me cuenta que la mayoría de los niños que asistían a la enfermería, presentaban algún malestar era cuando tenían que entregar algún trabajo o presentar alguna evaluación. Dice que era impresionante la cantidad de niños que no podía atenderlos a todos, entonces habilito fuera de la enfermería un banco para que esperaran unos, mientras atendía a otro. Ella dice que era necesario que los niños entrarán uno a uno, para así darles la medicina y no se dieran cuenta que era la misma para todos.

He tells me that when evaluating them from experience, he knew that some children were lying; but most were nervous and for none of these problems did they have medication. So he had to figure it out and make something up, to reassure them so they didn't have to call the parents because the child was feeling bad.

Me cuenta que al evaluarlos por experiencia sabía que los niños algunos mentían; pero la mayoría estaban nerviosos y para ningunos de estos problemas ella tenía la medicina. Así que tuvo que ingeniársela e inventar algo, para tranquilizarlos y no tuvieran que llamar a los padres porque el niño se sentía mal.

I was already impatient for him to tell me what he gave the children. He told me it's something magical, magical? But just like that, I take the dropper out of the desk drawer and try it; but it didn't taste like anything. She just said that she doesn't taste like anything because it's water. She then she put water in a dropper and that's what she gave to the children.

Ya estaba impaciente por que me dijera lo que les dio a los niños. Me dijo que es algo mágico, ¿mágico? Pero, así, saco el gotero del cajón del escritorio y lo pruebo; pero no sabía a nada. Ella solo dijo que no sabe a nada porque es agua. Entonces puso agua en un gotero y eso es lo que les dio a los niños.

It's amazing to think that the children felt good after taking Nurse Maritza's magic potion. She says they had faith, and believed that it would heal them.

Es increíble, pensar que los niños se sentían bien luego de tomar la poción mágica de la enfermera Maritza. Ella dice que ellos tenían fe, y creían en que eso los sanaría.

Faith is believing and having confidence that what we will get will be the best.

La fe es creer y tener confianza de que lo que obtendremos será lo mejor.
