Traveling in Tusheti, Georgia (PowerUp 100%)
Tusheti is an isolated highland region in Georgia. In the past, you must have travelled 3-4 days on a horse to achieve the area. Even today there is the only dirt road leading to this land, more appropriate to off-road vehicles. It takes 4 hours to drive 70 km.
The road is unpassable until May because of snow blockages. You need a helicopter to come to Tusheti in winter if only the weather allows the flight.
This is a conservative rural area covered with medieval towers proving that life was never too calm there. Except for today. Nowadays Tusheti is involved in tourism and many things have been changed.
Former warriors and shepherds have opened homestays and offer horseback riding excursions.
Authenticity has been lost. Tourism is becoming new authenticity. Who is to say that this is entirely bad?
All photos were taken by me with my old Nikon D3100 + the cheapest zoom 18-50 mm.

This #steemexclusive story is supposed to participate in The World of XPILAR - LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #073.
This is my 12th day of "14 days of DIVING". I am posting this story as a "50/50" but I commit myself to transfer SBD to SP in order to Power Up 100%. According to the rules mentioned here.
