Quick Pickled Cabbage for Every Day (PowerUp 100%)

A super easy vegetable dish, a cross between a salad and pickles. Costs 5 times cheaper than sauerkraut (квашеная капуста) but not less healthy and tasty. I cook it every day last weeks. A real discovery for the lazy and beginners.

The ingredients

The main ingredients: cabbage, onion, apple, apple vinegar, dried chilli flakes. Other ingredients will be explained below.

Cooking

• Finely chop cabbage, onion, and peeled apple.

• Carrot and parsley are optional, just to make dish look fancier. You can skip them. (I just needed something reddish and greenish for better photos, honestly.)
• Crush the chopped ingredients by pushing them down with your fist. Make them crunch!
• Add much dried ** chilli flakes**.
• Add apple vinegar, let's say 1 tablespoon for a portion (a plate).
• Sweeten just a little tiny bit with sugar.
• Add salt - not much.
• Mix.
• Put the dish into a fridge for several hours (a night, for example).

Done. As a result, you'll have crunchy and spicy lightly pickled cabbage.
