Greetings dear friends, this is my entry for the story competition driven by @xpilar:

Una Aventura Desprevenida / An Unprepared Adventure:

Soy Steven y pertenezco a la colonia de Miraval, se encuentra ubicada en el lejano Neptuno; este lugar es tan único y especial que en sus límites esta protegido por grandes simientes de agua y por esta causa nunca hemos salido de la colonia, no está permitido según la ley federal de Miraval; aunque si les soy sincero siempre he tenido curiosidad por conocer lo que hay más allá, espero algún día lograrlo.

I am Steven and I belong to the Miraval colony, it is located in the distant Neptune; This place is so unique and special that its limits are protected by large seeds of water and for this reason we have never left the colony, it is not allowed according to the federal law of Miraval; although if I am honest I have always been curious to know what lies beyond, I hope one day to achieve it.

Es mi primer día en clases de padertrirismo, se preguntarán ¿Qué es eso? está es el arte de poder crear estrellas desde la colonia, son creadas y lanzadas a través de una máquina que las impulsa al espacio exterior, apuesto a que no sabían de dónde venían las estrellas. Ese es el mayor propósito de nuestra colonia, el Creador nos hizo para eso y es Él quien nos da el sustento diario con agua y frutos rojos en abundancia que es de lo que vivimos.

It is my first day in suffering classes, you will wonder what is that? This is the art of being able to create stars from the colony, they are created and launched through a machine that propels them into outer space, I bet they didn't know where the stars came from. That is the main purpose of our colony, the Creator made us for that and it is He who gives us daily sustenance with water and red berries in abundance that is what we live on.

No conozco a nadie y estoy muy nervioso porque es mi primer día en la UUM (Universidad Universal de Miraval). Terminó la clase y decidí ir al comedor, en eso noté que había un alboroto en el pasillo porque se estaban burlando de un joven que vivía cerca de mi casa, salí a defenderlo pero me empujaron junto a él y me dieron un fuerte golpe en el ojo, en eso llegó una chica del laboratorio con una bolsa helada para el dolor; está chica nos llevó a su área de estudio dónde era más tranquilo, se presentó y dijo que se llamaba Misly, nos preguntó: ¿Ustedes son amigos? y el joven a quien defendí le respondío que no.

I don't know anyone and I'm very nervous because it's my first day at UUM (Universal University of Miraval). The class finished and I decided to go to the dining room, in that I noticed that there was a commotion in the hall because they were making fun of a young man who lived near my house, I went out to defend him but they pushed me next to him and they gave me a strong blow in the Be careful, that's when a girl came from the laboratory with an ice pack for pain; This girl took us to her study area where it was quieter, she introduced herself and said her name was Misly, she asked us: Are you friends? and the young man I defended answered no.

Volví a casa luego de todo lo acontecido, mientras iba por el camino se acercó a mí el joven a quién defendí y me dió las gracias (pensé que nunca lo haría), me dijo que no poseía amigos y que al igual que yo su mayor deseo era salir de la colonia, me comentó que en su casa está creando un portal especial que le permitiría ir a otro lugar lejano y me preguntó: ¿Quieres ir a verlo?, de verdad tenía curiosidad así que fuimos a su casa que se ubicaba un poco más alto que la mía pero en la misma calle, Miraval está formada sobre una gran montaña.

I returned home after everything that happened, while I was going on the road the young man whom I defended approached me and thanked me (I thought he would never do it), he told me that he had no friends and that like me his eldest I wanted to get out of the colony, he told me that in his house he is creating a special portal that would allow him to go to another far away place and he asked me: Do you want to go see him? I was really curious so we went to his house which was located a little higher than mine but in the same street, Miraval is formed on a great mountain.

Al entrar a su casa, saludé a su madre que solo había visto en el mercado de frutos rojos, me dió la bienvenida a su casa. Fuimos a su taller, y me mostró un gran aro que en su alrededor tenía unas encriptaciones que me llamaron la atención, y le pregunté ¿Qué va encrustado en eso? y me respondió: Allí van las estrellas, su energía nos permitirá encender el portal para poder transportarnos a otro lugar, el único problema es que aún no tengo las estrellas, por cierto mi nombre es Leisder.

Upon entering his house, I greeted his mother who had only seen in the red fruit market, she welcomed me to her home. We went to his workshop, and he showed me a large ring that had some encryptions around it that caught my attention, and I asked him, what is embedded in that? and he replied: There go the stars, their energy will allow us to turn on the portal to be able to transport ourselves to another place, the only problem is that I still do not have the stars, by the way my name is Leisder.

Volví a casa pensando en todo lo que Leisder me había dicho, al día siguiente lo ví en mi sección, al parecer se cambió de clase y me comentó: Ya sé quién nos va a conseguir las estrellas, ven a mi casa después que Saturno pase frente a Júpiter (es decir al oscurecer), pues aquí se mide el tiempo por el movimiento de los planetas.

I returned home thinking about everything Leisder had told me, the next day I saw him in my section, apparently he changed classes and he told me: I know who is going to get us the stars, come to my house after Saturn passes in front of Jupiter (that is, at dusk), because here time is measured by the movement of the planets.

Pensé en no ir porque me sonó todo muy misterioso, sin embargo me atreví y llegué a su casa, toque el timbre y escuché un silbido, era Leisder diciéndome que pasará a la parte de atrás de la casa, allí se encontraba Misly, lo cual me sorprendió y Leisder me dice: Ella nos ayudará a encontrar las estrellas; salimos y llegamos al laboratorio, entramos con una llave trampa que Misly tenía, les dije: ¿Esto no es ilegal? y Misly me contestó: ¿Tú qué crees?.

I thought about not going because it all sounded very mysterious, however I dared and got to his house, rang the bell and heard a whistle, it was Leisder telling me that he will go to the back of the house, there was Misly, which I was surprised and Leisder tells me: She will help us find the stars; We left and arrived at the laboratory, we entered with a trap key that Misly had, I said to them: This is not illegal? and Misly answered me: What do you think?

Dentro del laboratorio, desactivaron las alarmas y llegamos a la cápsula de reservas, las estrellas reservadas son absorbidas en un contenedor que las mantiene vivas hasta su punto de expulsión en dónde muchas de las estrellas reservadas se convierten en las conocidas fugaces porque viajan sin parar, en cambio las que son lanzadas instantáneamente al ser creadas solo se mantienen transitando en un eje fijo en el espacio o bueno eso es lo poco que he aprendido en clase. Tomamos las ocho estrellas en sus respectivos contenedores que necesitábamos y retornamos a casa de Leisder.

Inside the laboratory, they deactivated the alarms and we arrived at the reserve capsule, the reserved stars are absorbed in a container that keeps them alive until their expulsion point where many of the reserved stars become known fleeting ones because they travel without stopping, On the other hand, those that are launched instantly when they are created only keep traveling on a fixed axis in space or well, that is how little I have learned in class. We took the eight stars in their respective containers that we needed and returned to Leisder's house.

Entramos a su taller y ordenamos cada contenedor dentro de las incrustaciones del aro, y luego debíamos ir abriendo cada uno con prudencia. Iniciamos poco a poco, las estrellas resplandecían demasiado casi hasta quedaba sin visibilidad, al estar todo listo no acontecío nada, hasta que sentimos un gran movimiento de la cima de la colonia y el portal se abrió, solo recuerdo que toda la habitación (taller) fue irradiado.

We entered his workshop and arranged each container within the inlays of the ring, and then we had to open each one carefully. We started little by little, the stars shone too much until it was almost without visibility, when everything was ready nothing happened, until we felt a great movement from the top of the colony and the portal opened, I only remember that the whole room (workshop) was irradiated.

Viajamos sin previo aviso y al volver a tener conciencia llegué a una zona muy boscosa y diferente a la colonia y sus alrededores, está vez pude notar que nacían de los verdebrales (árboles) frutos amarillos, era muy distinto a los frutos rojos que acostumbrabamos a ver, al rato de tanto caminar escuché la voz de Leisder que gritaba, pude llegar a dónde él estaba, me alegré de verlo, pero de Misly no sabíamos nada; seguimos un pequeño camino que se abría entre los verdebrales y llegamos a un gran lago, al borde vimos el cuerpo de Misly tirado en el suelo, corrimos y notamos que aún poseía signos de vida, teniendo su cuerpo en mis brazos, le pregunté a Leisder: ¿Y ahora como regresamos a nuestra casa?.

We traveled without prior notice and when I was conscious again I came to a very wooded area and different from the colony and its surroundings, this time I could notice that yellow fruits were born from the verdebrales (trees), it was very different from the red fruits that we used to See, after so much walking I heard Leisder's voice screaming, I was able to get to where he was, I was glad to see him, but we didn't know anything about Misly; We followed a small path that opened between the verdebrales and we reached a large lake, at the edge we saw Misly's body lying on the ground, we ran and noticed that she still had signs of life, having her body in my arms, I asked Leisder : And now how do we return to our house ?.
