you speak from my heart and I can only agree with your five criteria without adding anything new.
It almost hurts me to see how people with copy & paste and worse on the copied platforms sell their dignity for a few cents. This has nothing to do with blogging anymore and certainly nothing to do with the original idea of Steem.
I have to admit that I'm a bit frustrated at the moment, too, so I don't feel any motivation for a qualitative design of articles. Still, there is a spark of hope that believes a handful of people who think like us can build something. Of course it is important that Mr. Sun plays along and that he didn't just use his Steem to push.
Yes, we can! ;-)

Thank you dear Christiane, once again it is nice to see that we indeed have a lot in common. Sometimes I just like to read the posts, curate and keep going like in the past and forget for a moment about the present and pretend that everything is like before. Maybe like children do.
I can imagine your frustration, finding yourself in this situation that even with all our will and intention difficult to know if that will be heard, seen and appreciated.
It is difficult to predict what the future will bring but I am glad to have you on my side on our journey on Steem.

Lies dir einfach mal einen Kommentar wie diesen durch, wo ständig nur von "limited resources" und ähnlichem die Rede ist. Warum sind denn die Ressourcen so limitiert? Weil Sun in andere Projekte - nicht in STEEM - investiert! Ich kann nicht anders als die Dinge genau so zu interpretieren.
Oh doch, es gibt immer einen Weg zurück! Sollten einige User, die ich hier sehr schätze, irgendwann einen anderen Ort zum Bloggen nutzen müssen als jetzt noch, werde ich sie dort unterstützen.

Ich habe den Kommentar schon gelesen, und das ist keine Überraschung für mich so was zu hören. Genau wie du denke ich dass die meisten (ganzen) Investitionen in Richtung “Sun‘s Projekte“ geflossen sind.
In Hive oder Blurt zu bloggen ist für mich aber auch nicht attraktiver, und wenn es dann doch nicht mit Steem klappen sollte, na ja dann werden wir dass ganze Steem in was anderes investieren. Steem ist der erste und auch der letzte Versuch.
Dann bleibt mir nur, viel Glück zu wünschen!
