Yes, this is the plant I know. ONLY the one we usually plant is the variegated variety. As I said, we mainly plant then as an ornamental. I am going to look for some plain ones.
The most useful is the usual dream. But it is better to collect it young. The leaves of an adult plant become quite stiff.
I am going to look for the plain variety. I have lots of land that needs ground cover and this plant grows very well here. Ha ha all the Russian plants grow so well here! I need to research more types of plants from Siberia to see what I may incorporate into my garden.
Canada and Russia are in the same latitudes. There are a lot of similarities in vegetation and fauna :)
Yes, there are lots of similarities, but not all the flora and fauna is the same. Some stuff from Russia becomes invasive here and I assume that it is the same with Canadian plants in Russia. Do you know of any bad plants that have come from Canada?
I am not fond of plants, but I can assume that some may behave aggressively in a new environment.
