I confess honestly! I have never participated in competitions. Most likely because of the fear of losing. And then I decided to overcome my fears.
I didn't have commercial orders. But if there were, I would have performed them in a similar version. For example, if I advertised Chocolate balls with a creamy taste.
Since I do not have a professional light, as always, I used the light from my window. But it seems to me that this is not very important.
Why are the balls in the glass? It seems to me that the glass with its circles gives volume to the balls and they look bigger and more round this way :))
And the white cream contrasts greatly with the dark brown balls. And the whole picture betrays the colors of the sliced tangerine.

Nevertheless I do like your photos! If I had to print a commercial or to edit a menu card, I would have chosen your work for my application. Your photos make me want to taste these beauties!

You gave an answer by yourself on this question, and I try to formulate another perspective:
This question should not only be answered with words but with the look that you take by your photos and that you pass then to the recipient of these.
What you've chosen as table seems brilliant to me: the harmony of the colours in unity with some eatable objects (obviously ingredients of the ice menu) communicate some richness and overboarding while the preparation of this deli.
And according to this luxury the glass brings reflections of light to communicate brightness and icy coldness in one together.
In my view, the only wish would be: to choose an even thiner glass that looks frozen and delicate itself like ice flowers on the window.
It seems to me that for the description of my posts I will contact you. You have painted my photos more clearly and richly. I think I'm better at taking pictures than describing anything. But I will work on myself. And over what you said.

It's definitely not worth looking at such photos at night. Generally not worth Alieksik my blog night. I'm so sure. It happens that in the evening I review some photos in order to edit them. And I understand that they force me to go and eat something. Very hard work.🤣🤣🤣
