Greetings people of WOX Community!

Today I’m gonna show you something stolen, well not that the photos aren’t mine, but a stolen architecture. Well here’s the thing when it comes to Macedonia well I’m not looking to start a beef, cuz the beef between us Bulgarians and the Macedonians already exists and the beef is which history is ours and which history is theirs.

Well Macedonia is like a 20 years old country and it doesn’t have any history, but they claim that every Bulgarian ruler and libertarian is Macedonian. Well just no they say that most of our history is actually theirs, a 20 years old country. There’s a saying we love to say - Macedonia is Bulgaria.

Anyway the reason I’m telling you that I’m gonna show something stolen is, because when i was in their capital - Skopje i saw nothing bug plagiarised architecture from all around the world i was shocked. It looks like this country is trying to be something that isn’t. It’s a good copycat tho.

So this is the centre of Skopje and we basically went there for some tennis match a friend of mine wanted to watch in person. I’m not a tennis guy and i went there just for the trip, anyway we walked around the centre and it was like i was in Las Vegas, but balkan edition. I mean it’s enough that the Macedonians are trying to hijack our history, there’s a whole let’s say complex that’s unfinished or at least it’s still in progress of so many architectural monuments, statues, churches whatever you could think of and most of the photos i made were, just go post in my story that i was somewhere outside of Bulgaria.

So this is supposed to be the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I who basically began the transformation of the late antique Eastern Roman Empire into early medieval Byzantium. It was the last time, a Roman emperor attempted to subdue the entire Mediterranean. Anyway not to get too much into history I don’t know what this Emperor has in common with Macedonia , because we’re talking about a history that goes back 1500 years old and the lands of “Macedonia” were Bulgarian lands.

This is Square Macedonia and the horseman you see is the Alexander Macedonski or as most of you will know under the Great Alexander which they say was Macedonian, cuz his surname is “Makedonski” - he was a Bulgarian.

Anyway there’s so much more examples to give and I don’t want to get into history details, but the idea is that most of the monuments are stolen history and a lot of them look like hijacked from other monuments all around the world.

Well you know at the end of the day it looks beautiful you know. For 400 million euros it must look beautiful, this is the estimated money for the complex that is still being finished with all these structures. It’s not all negative, cuz if you are some European that doesn’t know history you will like it very much the monuments look good the churches the statues everything. It’s just that when you know the history worsens the vibes.

The landmark i enjoyed the most is the Macedonian Kale or so called Macedonian Fortress which has a rich history dating back to the 6th century AD when it was built during the reign of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I (the emperor from the first photo) . Over the centuries, it went by different rulers, including the Byzantines, Bulgarians, and Ottomans.

You know as much as I don’t like what our neighbours are doing I can’t say that Macedonia is not a beautiful country. Well it’s Bulgaria technically, but still it looked like Bulgaria, but if it wasn’t robbed by corruption. You can speak to the natives in Bulgarian and they will answer in Macedonian and you will both understand each other perfectly. It like when Ukrainians and Russians meet. Think of it that way.

So this is the end of the post and this is probably the weirdest post I’ve made on this platform. It’s basically a sunshine mixed with little hurricane. Beautiful photos, good info, but sounding angry. Anyway i hope you enjoyed at least the visuals. See you around. 😄
