Silhouettes ARE shadows - seen or shot from within this same shadow.
Their speciality is: not to be seen as projections on floors or walls or the like but as contrasts against "their" source of light. It's a question of perspective, not of concepts or terms.
Yes, this is an interesting approach to shadow. Technically, it's not a shadow. After all, the shadow is what I see. And here I am inside the shadow itself and looking at its owner :)

ich verstehe, dass meine Worte in der Übersetzung in andere Sprachen irgendwie anders wahrgenommen werden können )
Ich versuche nur, die Physik dieses Phänomens (Schatten, Grenzen, Volumen, Veränderungsbedingungen usw.) zu verstehen, indem ich einige Gedanken erkläre. Ich war wirklich daran interessiert, das Volumen des Schattens mit Rauch zu visualisieren. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es funktionieren wird, aber ich werde es trotzdem versuchen.
Ein Foto ist eine Lichtschrift, wenn es Licht gibt, also einen Schatten. Es ist ein interessantes Objekt zu erforschen.
In der Grundausbildung bin ich Fettaffe, aber ich bin der Geisteshaltung näher an der Geisteswissenschaft...

Я всего лишь пытаюсь понять физику этого явления (тень, границы, объём, условия изменения и прочее) озвучивая некоторые мысли. Мне действительно стало интересно попробовать визуализировать объём тени используя дым. Не уверен, что это получится, но я всё равно попробую.
Фотография является светописью, если есть свет, то есть и тень. Это интересный объект для исследования.
По базовому образованию я технарь, но по складу ума ближе к гуманитарию...
