For February we are again inviting individuals to apply if they would like to be Community Curators.

Мотивация
Да, я хочу попробовать свои силы и стать куратором на февраль месяц этого года.
В декабре прошлого года по приглашению @stef1 я имел честь состоять в команде модераторов серии конкурсов WOX Community Engagement Challenge. Это был довольно длинный забег с большим количеством участников и это было серьёзным вызовом для меня. До этого я был менее активен на платформе.
Благодаря этой работе я понял, что это не так сложно, но требует времени и мотивации. Сейчас у меня есть и то и другое.
Краткое изложение вашей истории в Steem.
Жителем планеты Steem являюсь с октября 2018 года. Никакой особой истории у меня нет. В течении первого года я довольно трудно начинал. Пытался заводить друзей, публиковал посты... но как правило их никто не замечал и у меня даже было желание покинуть платформу. Но однажды я стал членом сообщества WORLD OF XPILAR. Я уже не помню точно, как всё началось, но моя мотивация начала расти, я остановил понижение силы голоса и с тех пор только наращиваю. Я даже озвучил некоторую цель... стать касаткой, половину пути я почти прошёл.
Помня свои проблемы в начале пути, однажды я принял решение помогать новичкам и делегировал нескольким пользователям по 50SP. Команда WOX заметила эту инициативу и предложила создать программу поддержки в рамках сообщества. Так я стал модератором WOX. Вот и весь мой путь.

Я уже упомянул свою должность модератора WOX по курированию новых и активных членов сообщества. Это означает, что участники программы поддержки получают делегацию SP и ежедневно один из постов участника поддерживается кураторами WOX. Для этого я проверяю посты участников и находя достойный пост рекомендую его кураторам WOX для голосования.
Сведения о специальных или профессиональных навыках или опыте, которыми вы обладаете в "реальной жизни"
В реальной жизни я освоил несколько специальностей, но сейчас являюсь пенсионером. По базовому образованию я инженер-кораблестроитель, спасатель, водолаз. Кроме этого имею дипломы психолога и патентоведа. В разное время я работал по всем этим специальностям и имею практический опыт. Сейчас занимаюсь фотографией и резьбой по дереву.
В какой стране вы живете и на каких языках вы можете свободно читать.
Я живу в России и являюсь носителем русского языка. Яндекс/гугл переводчики позволяют читать и понимать любые тексты.

Motivation
Yes, I want to try my hand and become a curator for the month of February this year.
Last December, at the invitation of @stef1, I had the honor to be a member of the moderator team of the WOX Community Engagement Challenge series of contests. It was quite a long race with a lot of participants and it was a serious challenge for me. Before that, I was less active on the platform.
Thanks to this work, I realized that it is not so difficult, but it takes time and motivation. Now I have both.
Summary of your story in Steem.
I have been a resident of the planet Steem since October 2018. I don't have any special history. During the first year I started quite hard. I tried to make friends, published posts... but as a rule, no one noticed them and I even had a desire to leave the platform. But one day I became a member of the WORLD OF XPILAR community. I don't remember exactly how it all started, but my motivation started to grow, I stopped the decrease in voice power and have been increasing ever since. I even voiced some goal... To become a killer whale, I almost walked half the way.
Remembering my problems at the beginning of the journey, one day I decided to help beginners and delegated 50SP to several users. The WOX team noticed this initiative and offered to create a support program within the community. That's how I became a WOX moderator. That's my whole journey.

I have already mentioned my position as a WOX moderator for curating new and active members of the community. This means that the participants of the support program receive an SP delegation and every day one of the participant's posts is supported by WOX curators. To do this, I check the posts of the participants and finding a decent post, I recommend it to the WOX curators for voting.
Information about special or professional skills or experience that you have in "real life"
In real life, I have mastered several specialties, but now I am a pensioner. By basic education, I am a shipbuilding engineer, a lifeguard, a diver. In addition, I have diplomas of a psychologist and a patent specialist. At various times I have worked in all these specialties and have practical experience. Now I am engaged in photography and wood carving.
In which country do you live and in which languages can you read fluently.
I live in Russia and am a native speaker of Russian. Yandex/Google translators allow you to read and understand any text.

That is wonderful application, that is completely different from many that I have seen and d read before. What I like is that you have included all necessary information that is needed to assess the person for curation work on Steemit but also I like how you gave an inner view about yourself as a personality.
You did great job been one of the leaders for WOX Challenge month in December and it was different from other months because it had 6 weeks and also due to Christmas and New Year we had many own commitments but also the number of submissions were very high.
You did a great job, verifying the majority of users but also you remained kind in your comments advising and guiding people. Therefore, in my opinion you are one of the best candidate for Curator post. I would like to ask the Steemit Team to consider your candidate and it will only make the Curatorship work richer.

I tried to be brief, but to highlight the important things that are necessary for making a decision.
WOX Challenge month in December was a busy period of work, our team had to put a lot of effort. But thanks to this work, I have gained courage now :)) The eyes are afraid, but the hands do.
I hope that if I am elected, I will also be able to fulfill my new duties.

I wanted to say that in your bio, you forgot to mention your mushroom picking skill :o)
But, maybe that will not be a curator's needed skill. Though, understanding nature is important, for curating good content.
Oh.. I have the skill not only to collect mushrooms, but also to eat them))))
I think some mushrooms are very useful for curating :)
Never tried "special" mushrooms, but I love mushrooms.
I don't use hallucinogens either :))
But most mushrooms are just good for health, especially tinder plants that grow on trees.
I heard that except champignon mushrooms, the rest should be cooked. Is that right?
I also ate raw champignons and many others in their raw form. Especially tasty (and very useful) is the ginger (Lactarius).
Bread, butter, garlic and salt. And on top of the ginger hat- I've never tasted anything tastier :)
