The City and the Fog - A Visual Story Part 1 (15 Photos)

One day this week appeared to be pretty special since in the morning it came pretty dense fog, which happens not so often here due to constant winds. The City is located at the coast of Baltic Sea and to catch calm weather is often is kind of issue...

But still happens time to time and I try to catch such possibilities to shoot some cityscapes / street. It is about 20 minutes by foot to reach Old City from my house and normally I do not use car if weather allows. Especially good is to have such nice walk-around during partial lock down, which we have again from last Friday

The choice for the camera and lens was pretty obvious. You do need long tepe-photo lens to compress the perspective to get real fog feeling into the photos. My street combination of crop factor camera and 16-300mm lens is always best choice. Lightweight lens, but very long. Quite dark, but we have to pay some price and anyway, daytime is good enough
