Well, hello, friends. I can say that I have returned to writing regular posts on Steemit, but I can lie. I'm not sure I'll find the time for this tomorrow. As my friend used to say, "I have a new love." In this case, it is work and "manifestation of activity in the crypto world". I can tell you about it separately if anyone is interested, but at the moment I want to show the nightlife of a beautiful city called Barcelona.
So, December 21, 2018. My foot set foot on the land of Catalonia as part of a friendly cheerful company, or rather a company. It was a New Year's Eve corporate travel.
From the airport, we got to the hotel, almost in the center of the city, and the question arose - where are we going today? To the sea!
I must say that it turned out to be a little longer to go to the sea than it first seemed. Therefore, we reached it already in complete darkness. Probably, it would have been possible to get there faster, but there was a reason - we wanted to eat and take a little alcohol on my chest.

Как говорил мой друг: "У меня новая любовь". В данном случае - это работа и "проявление активности в криптомире". Я могу про это рассказать отдельно, если кому-то интересно, но в данный момент я хочу показать ночную жизнь прекрасного города под название Барселона.
Итак, 21 декабря 2018 года. Моя нога ступила на землю Каталонии в составе дружной кjмпании, а точнее abhvs. Это был предновогодний корпоратив.
С аэропорта мы добрались до отеля, практически в центре города, и возник вопрос - куда сегодня мы пойдем? К морю!
Надо сказать, что до моря оказалось идти немного дольше, чем это сначала представлялось. Поэтому до него мы добрались уже в полной темноте. Наверное, можно было бы и быстрее добраться, но была причина - хотелось покушать и немного принять алкоголя на грудь.

In Catalonia, Barcelona has its own national drink - Bacardi rum. @ranartblog, do you know such a rum? Or do you not have European alcohol in stores?

This is not an advertisement. I just remembered that there should be a bottle of this drink in my little bar. And I was right. I like this rum, the first time I tried it was about 10 years ago. I don't even know if they are selling it in stores now or not. I try to take such alcohol only in specialized stores so as not to run into a fake.
Это не реклама. Я просто вспомнил, чот вроде бы в моем недобаре должна иметься бутылочка этого напитка. И я оказался прав. Мне нравится этот ром, первый раз я его попробовал около 10 лет назад. Продают его сейчас в магазинах или нет, я даже не знаю. Подобный алкоголь я стараюсь брать только в специализированных магазинах, чтобы не нарваться на подделку.
The symbol of Christmas. Santa Claus himself. I want to say that there were few Christmas decorations visible in Barcelona. In Italy, they could be found on every corner. But we still found the Christmas mood.
Символ Рождества. Сам Санта Клаус. Хочу сказать, что в Барселоне было мало видно рождественских украшений. В Италии их можно было встретить на каждом углу. Но вот мы встретили рождественское настроение.
Well, we have reached our goal, we have wet our feet in the Mediterranean Sea. There were quite a lot of people on the beach, young people even played volleyball. But our acquired wings asked for additional fuel to continue the flight. Therefore, we landed in another outdoor bar, took another dose of Bacardi, talked to the waiters, who handed us a bag of cookies as a gift, took a taxi, and headed to the hotel, where our celebration continued with a large company on the roof. But this is already a closed story of nightlife. The photos that were taken on the roof are not for the general public. And it's not pleasant for everyone to look at funny drunk guys and girls.
Что ж, мы достигли нашей цели, мы помочили ноги в Средиземном море. На пляже было достаточно много людей, молодые люди даже играли в волейбол. Но наши приобретенные крылья просили дополнительного горючего, чтобы продолжить полет. Поэтому мы приземлились в очередном баре на свежем воздухе, приняли очередную дозу Bacardi, пообщались с официантами, которые вручили нам пакет с печеньем в качестве подарка, взяли такси и направились в гостиницу, где наш праздник продолжился уже большой компанией на крыше. Но это уже закрытая история ночной жизни. Фотографии, которые делались на крыше, не для широкого круга. Да и смотреть на веселых пьяных парней и девчонок не всем бывает приятно.

Umh.. must be the Bacardi. And yip, it is available in South Africa.
It seems to me that the girl did not drink Bacardi. She had wings of love. I saw her looking at one of the guys.

Bacardi with Cola was my first drink at age 13.
I used to drink it for a couple of years, and then I changed it to Whiskey with Cola, which I drank for decades.
Usually 3/4 to a bottle and 1/4 of whiskey in an evening, 2-3 times a week.
Of course, I drank many more drinks, like wine, cocktails, and shots.
In the last decade or so, I mostly drink beer, 4.5 to 7 liters (though on a few occasions I drank 8 or more liters).
But, I mostly drink once a week now, because I teach 6 days a week, and I have to be focused.

I don't drink beer. And cocktails are rare, usually pure whiskey, rum, vodka.
But now I rarely drink alcohol. There is no time for this :)
That is good. Meaning, you have a lot to do.
That is why I only drink once a week, because it is a good time (a lot of work).
But, once a week, I have to be on auto-pilot :o)
There is even a song about it - must be drunk in the ass on the weekend :)

Yeah, it was the drink my friends and I started with. I am now 51, but I do NOT drink cola or other sweet drinks anymore.
Недавно встретилось народное изречение. Можно сказать, мудрость высеченная на камне (ок, нацарапанное ручкой на уличной стене, не суть). Но мне понравилось:
"Если ты закончил школу,
Добавляй бакарди в колу".
И этой мудрости не надо растягивать на роман. Краткость, как известно, сестра таланта!
Это надо запомнить. :)
Но у нас бакарди не очень популярный алкоголь.
