DISOBEDIENCE WILL MAKE YOU END UP IN THE WHALE'S STOMACH: Watercolor Proyect

The concept of a whale swallowing someone is well known. Do you remember the story of Pinocchio or the biblical account of Jonah? Basically the first thing people notice is that these two illustrious figures manage to get out of their predicament alive. The second is that they manage to stay alive for three or more days.
I don't want to talk about how it is possible for someone to come out of such a situation alive, that is out of the question. What I want to highlight is that it was all a consequence of disobeying a direct order or rejecting a recommendation made for our well-being.

What leads us to turn our backs? Is rebellion an intrinsic act of the human species? I do not know. What I know is that every act of disobedience has its immediate or long-term consequences, which sometimes leads us to believe that we got away with it.

Look at the past, try to remember something you did that you ended up figuratively in the belly of a giant fish.
In our lives we have done a series of things that have gotten us into more or less serious problems. All because knowing how to do things correctly we decide not to do them.
We disobey, disregard good advice, and end up in trouble that seems narrow, wet, sticky, and dead-end.
Days go by and after much meditation, figuratively within the stomach of that whale or that great fish, we find help or get the exit.
The outcome is that we usually find a solution, but not without cost and sacrifice. We are vomited by the big fish.
All for not listening to advice, recommendations or direct orders in case you are subordinate.
We silence our conscience and do things even knowing that what we do is wrong.
So tell me, is being swallowed by the whale an avoidable situation?

See a little of the process of this illustration made with watercolors.
