Farming is more than just a profession, it’s my passion

Greetings dear readers, on this occasion I come to share with you a little about my profession and some aspects that I am passionate about and that make me exercise my work with pleasure, before I start with my speech I want to congratulate the @worldofxpilar colleagues for this great initiative that allows us to socialize and make ourselves known to the community.

In the drawing you can see a buffalo, which I had the opportunity to draw by hand for one of my publications related to the management of these animals, I chose this image because it fully represents my profession, my name is José Ángel Amesty, Engineer of agricultural production, with postgraduate studies in agroecology and specialist in forage resources for the feeding of cattle such as buffalo, I work as a University professor in the faculty of agronomy in a Venezuelan University, I am passionate about both activities, as I have a synergy between field practice and pass on that acquired knowledge to future graduates of the career.

I like to share content related to the agricultural area just like my wife @pinedaocl who shares my career, I had the opportunity to meet her during my studies and today we share the same passion for agriculture and for our children, what I like most about what I do is that I have direct contact with nature and I have learned to manage agricultural resources respecting natural processes and thus achieve a sustainable agriculture and thus reduce the use of synthetic products that attack environment and biodiversity of our ecosystems.

There are many things that remain to be said about my profession, but here I leave my passion for agriculture, until then I hope they continue with these great initiatives.
