El Viajero Invisible

Desde que ingresó al sistema estelar Garuda, su arrollador impacto se hizo sentir, a medida que avanzaba su indetenible paso causó caos y destrucción, en aquello que tomó miles de millones de años en ser construido.

La arrolladora fuerza de su gravedad, alteró órbitas de objetos gigantes, que como si de simples juguetes, arrojados por el iracundo berrinche de un malcriado niño se tratase, fueron expulsados al frio espacio interestelar, donde sucumbirían en la más absoluta inanición, despojados de la nutritiva radiación de su estrella materna.

Otros cuerpos fueron destrozados y devorados, devastados hasta ser desintegrados a escala atómica, reducidos a un delgado hilo de materia que como si de un fideo se tratara, fue absorbido por su insaciable e inexpugnable vientre, donde por un periodo inconmensurable de tiempo, serían presa de una perversa digestión perpetua.

Su negra presencia, un vacío en el espacio que se desplaza a fenomenal velocidad, se aproxima ya al más fatídico de sus aleatorios destinos, Garuda, una hermosa roca azul, llena de vida, abandonada y olvidada, a causa de su inevitable destino, pronto será castigada, por tener la desdicha de estar en su camino.

Garuda, lugar de aves y limpios cielos, de extensos bosques poblados por millones de vidas, ya hace mil años fue evacuado, pero aun cuando la mayor parte de sus pobladores fueron reubicados, la vida en el persistió, muchas especies, a partir de pocos dejados atrás, se recuperaron, los bosques trasportados de raíz, volvieron a crecer de los retoños de sus antiguos inquilinos. Garuda fue testigo de la persistencia de la vida y su testarudez.

Pero pronto todo acabará para este olvidado mundo. El visitante invisible, que, como un delincuente oculto por la oscuridad, irrumpe violento y despiadado, profanando la paz de miles de millones de años, pronto será su desgracia, insensible e implacable, hará que la roca azul sea expulsada de su órbita y convertida en un mundo errante.

Su atmósfera, antes transparente y amable, será arrasada, expulsada, dejando desnuda la tierra y los mares, que se helarán ante la ausencia del calor de su sol, sus bosques serán de carámbanos, de columnas petrificadas, heladas, que ocultaran los restos de sus pequeños habitantes, que como estatuas de hielo, perdurarán hasta que, algún día, más allá de la misma comprensión del tiempo, la bola helada que será, dejará de existir, cuando el vacío le gane a la materia misma y todo deje de existir.

The Invisible Traveller

From the moment it entered the Garuda star system, its overwhelming impact was felt, as its unstoppable passage caused chaos and destruction, in that which took billions of years to build.

The overwhelming force of its gravity altered the orbits of giant objects, which as if they were simple toys, thrown by the irate tantrum of a spoiled child, were expelled into the cold interstellar space, where they would succumb in the most absolute starvation, stripped of the nutritious radiation of their mother star.

Other bodies were destroyed and devoured, devastated until they were disintegrated on an atomic scale, reduced to a thin thread of matter that, as if it were a noodle, was absorbed by their insatiable and impregnable womb, where for an immeasurable period of time, they would be prey to perpetual perverse digestion.

Their black presence, a void in space that moves at phenomenal speed, is already approaching the most fateful of their random destinies, Garuda, a beautiful blue rock, full of life, abandoned and forgotten, because of its inevitable destiny, will soon be punished, for having the misfortune to be in their way.

Garuda, a place of birds and clean skies, of extensive forests populated by millions of lives, was already evacuated a thousand years ago, but even when most of its inhabitants were relocated, the life in it persisted, many species, from few left behind, recovered, the forests transported from the roots, grew again from the sprouts of their former tenants. Garuda witnessed the persistence of life and its stubbornness.

But soon it will all be over for this forgotten world. The invisible visitor, who, like a criminal hidden by darkness, bursts in violently and mercilessly, desecrating the peace of billions of years, will soon be its misfortune, insensitive and implacable, causing the blue rock to be expelled from its orbit and turned into a wandering world.

Its atmosphere, formerly transparent and kind, will be razed to the ground, expelled, leaving the earth and the seas naked, which will freeze in the absence of the heat of its sun, its forests will be of icicles, of petrified, frozen columns, which will hide the remains of its small inhabitants, who, like ice statues, will last until, one day, beyond the very understanding of time, the frozen ball that it will be, will cease to exist, when the emptiness overcomes matter itself and everything ceases to exist.
