“Close your eyes Avon and do not open them until I instruct you to, or else you will cease to exist” the goddess cautioned Avon.

Avon felt an instant shock of extreme cold move up his spine causing him to close his eyes even more tightly dreading the goddess’s warning.

“You may open them now” a voice assured Avon. It was not the voice that spoke to him a moment ago, but the whisper he recalled from the Golden Shore. The one that had gifted him the Golden Pen.

Avon opened his eyes slowly and stood frozen in his place in complete reverence of his surroundings. He was in the middle of a vast ocean inside a magical pulsating organic structure. The waters below did not smell like the sea but of something much more pure. He could strangely remember the scent but could not give it a name, all he could think of was lying in the midst of a field of flowers. The waters sent out a deep humming sound more beautiful than any music he had known. It was dark but he could see everything with incredible clarity. All around him, spherical pods floated above and rose from the waters. They seemed to play, dance and even bounce off of each other.

Avon could not understand what was happening, he searched for emotions with himself but found none. His feelings where suspended completely but he was in a blissful state.

The voice began to speak within Avon’s head.

“You are now standing where very few mature mortals have stood before. Avon, you are now back within the womb of the Primordial Mother. This is where your kind are birthed into your realm. The Primordial Ocean is where all the emotions in the universe originate. Each sphere you see before you belongs to a unique being. As they mature they rise further away from their source rarely returning until they die. Yet the source of the Primordial Ocean exists within every mortal, for each sphere holds within it the very same waters.”

“I tell you once more Avon… I will not be able to help you beyond this point. Even the Golden Shore will disappear from your existence when you return to your realm” the voice went on.

Avon’s eyes shifted for the first time since he opened them at the thought of not returning to the Golden Shore anymore.

“You have been gifted the Golden Pen because of the potential within you. The reason you were able to connect to the power of the water more than any other is not of concern at this moment. What you must understand, is that, what you have written in the past has established more chaos and chasms between the races of the Land.”

“Your words were powerful yet divisive. You created exclusion and further conflict. Through your letters you made the victim a tyrant and turned the tyrant into the victim. So much hate and anger has manifested that it is aggravating the Land itself. If you continue on this path the mortals of your Land will suffer without end. Young Word Smith, you must understand that the source of all beings is from within the ocean of the Primordial Mother. When you are born you rise from it to have your own experiences, yet because of your limited understanding you forget where you came form” the voice explained.

“Avon, you must return to the source of your being and then rewrite everything. You must show the races of the Land that power is in unity not separation. You are charged by the gods to show every mortal that while they exist in separate spheres, what they hold within them is from the same source. The task is difficult but you have the capacity to influence generations. You do not need to do it alone. Appeal to the Elders of each race, to the council and the woman you love, Rhea, she will be your flow.”
