Every company has the need to have operational and/or administrative staff to allow the continuation and efficiency of its operations or production, Steemit does not escape from this, despite being a virtual platform Steemit requires operational and/or administrative staff with expertise in programming to allow the optimal functioning of the block chains, these staff are called Witnesses, and are eligible for votes from the community.

What information do they present?

• The witnesses are in charge of keeping up to date all the information produced by the Steem blocks, i.e. votes, comments, publications and transactions. To this end, they are available every day of the year using high level computers.

• Witnesses must submit an updated STEEM exchange rate against the US dollar.

• Witnesses process a minimum contribution level as a STEEM POWER deposit for each new account registered as a proxy.

• Witnesses determine the parameters of interest for the Steem Dollar.

• They show possible actions to update or execute applications in the future.

¿What are your goals?.

In a proper criterion, one of the main goals of each witness is to be within the first 20 in the list of Steemit witnesses, for that, they must play an important role with the community and that they thank it with their vote in favor. On the other hand, the witnesses must have the goal of adding value to the Steem block structure by attracting the attention of potential investors through marketing strategies to keep the Steem economy stable or growing. Another goal that each token must have is to create useful and necessary applications and/or tools for the leverage of Steem.

In this new stage of Steemit, I have only given three votes out of the thirty corresponding ones, they are

1. exnihilo.witness: is a witness who is constantly sending his work reports, he also supports through contributions to other users.

¿What other function did you find is performed by these witnesses?

Since the hacking in 2016 in the block chain, the witnesses have been able to perform several forks to modify or replace the security codes while keeping Steem investors guaranteed. On the other hand, the witnesses are attentive to the presence of abuse, spam or plagiarism in the publications and/or contents left on the platform.

¿Qué información presentan?

• Los testigos deben presentar una tasa de cambio actualizada de STEEM con respecto al dólar estadounidense.

• Los testigos procesan un nivel mínimo de contribución como depósito de STEEM POWER para cada cuenta nueva registrada en forma de delegación.

• Los testigos determinan los parámetros de interés del Steem Dollar.

• Muestran posibles acciones de actualización u ejecución de aplicaciones a futuro.

¿Cuáles son sus metas?

En un criterio propio, uno de los objetivos principales de cada testigo es estar dentro de los primeros 20 en la lista de Testigos de Steemit, para ello, deben desempeñar un papel importante con la comunidad y que estos lo agradezcan con su voto a favor. Por otro lado, los testigo deben tener como metas agregar valor a la estructura de bloques Steem llamando la atención de potenciales inversores a través de estrategias de marketing para mantener la economía del Steem estable o en crecimiento. Otra de las metas que deben tener cada testigo es crear aplicaciones y/o herramientas útiles y necesarias para el apalancamiento del Steem.

¿Qué otra función que encontraron es realizada por estos testigos?

Desde el hackeo en el 2016 en la cadena de bloque, los testigos han podido realizar varias bifurcaciones para modificar o reemplazar los códigos de seguridad manteniendo garantía a los inversores de Steem, por otro lado, los testigos están atentos ante la presencia de abuso, spam o plagio en las publicaciones y/o contenidos dejados en la plataforma..
