WEEKLY CONTEST WEEK 5 - Healthy Game - Day 6// The Best Meal For Strength and Endurance

in HEALTH REPUBLIC3 years ago

It is indeed a privilege to be among those who will be participating in the day 06 healthy game on the topic; The best recipe for heart pressure.

Although I have never experienced anyone around me who have the problem with the heart, I have watched and heard the pains one who has a heart problem goes through in life and I really do use to feel sad for them wishing there was anything I could help them with to relieve them of such pains.

Funny enough, many people have this problem, not because of their environment but because it is in their blood. Perhaps, from the maternal or paternal lineages like a friend of mine whose grandmother is a diabetic patient and her aunt also died of diabetics and it has been going on like that for a while. There are possible ways to manage or stop such things from

And so, I would be giving the best possible way to which one can solve their problem in a natural way or perhaps not let it happen to them because as they say, "prevention is better than cure." So, if you know it flows in the family, it is better you try to manage it with drugs from the early stage or take natural medicine to avoid having it and also believe in God for a cure.

So I will be talking about what we eat. What we eat matters a lot and as such, no matter the drugs or medication we take to help us solve this problem, if we don't watch what we take into our body, it is really not going to stop or do anything.

  • Always roast/broil/grill/poach/stew your meats, poultry, vegetable, and chicken on racks, stove, oven to allow the fat to drip off.
  • Avoid packaged and processed foods at least I know we most times crave such things, but for the sake of our health, it will be better if we learn how to avoid them as much as possible.
  • Salt also should be avoided. Food that contains sodium, pickled, cured, brined, salted nuts, chips, crackers, or smoked foods shouldn't be taken too many times.
  • Don’t cook with flavored kinds of pasta, instead add your own flavorings to plain pasta and rice instead.
  • Flavor your food with natural leaves like Thyme, Cider vinegar, Turmeric, Curry powder, Garlic, Lemon juice, Peppermint, and other natural extracts to avoid contributing to our high blood pressure:
  • Avoid caffeine and alcohol
Even though we know avoiding this is impossible but for health's sake, let us focus more on the low-sodium diet that can help to get the high blood pressure under control.

Eat a lot of fruits. Many of us can't remember the last time we ate the fruit because we feel they are of no use but that is quite a lie. Fruit is so good for our system and in this case, they can work better for us.

Eat food like;

  • Berries
  • Bananas
  • Dark chocolate
  • Watermelon
  • Oats
  • Leafy green vegetables like cabbage, lettuce
  • Avocado
  • Tomatoes
  • Beans
  • Kiwis

These listed here and above are foods that may lower the heart pressure fruits, vegetables, oats, nuts, lentils, herbs, and a healthy balanced diet. It will be good we also learn to engage in adequate physical activity to treat and improve heart conditions. Worry over nothing, smile always, trust in God.

Our heart is one of the most important things but many of us always refuse to be conscious of what we take into our body because what we take into our body affects the overall well-being of our health. With all I have said, the best meal for strength and endurance is to eat healthy food, avoid food that contains sodium, and trust God to make all things good.
