My point of view is the following, it is useless for them to pursue the immortality of the body, while this planet is dying and is in its final phase, My question is: In which world do they intend to enjoy their immortality?
Your comment is expressing everything I would have wanted to say. It's just like you say, they don't give a damn about the dying planet as long as they keep living...maybe they'll go to Mars..
