Qualche giorno fa in un post ho raccontato di come McDonald's era riuscita a stare sotto i riflettori del mondo crypto grazie a dei memes su Twitter che aveva dedicato ai personaggi più in vista del settore delle critpovalute e a marchi famosi, QUI il post.

Tutti si sono divertiti e hanno fatto la loro parte rispondendo con altri memes molto simpatici e quale comunità nel mondo delle crypto famosa proprio per i suoi memes ha preso la palla al balzo per chiedere all'azienda di accettare la propria valuta digitale?

Proprio così, la comunità di Dogecoin.

E quando si parla di questa crypto non bisogna aspettare molto prima che il suo supporter più accanito che smuove milioni di like, faccia sentire la propria voce anzi il proprio tweet.

Sto parlando di Elon Musk, che crede fermamente in questa storica meme coin e nel suo potenziale e soprattutto che per le sue caratteristiche, possa proprio essere la moneta del popolo.

A questo punto la comunità di Doge ma anche tutti gli appassionati di asset digitali, sono rimasti in attesa della risposta di McDonald's che potrebbe davvero cambiare le sorti di tutto il settore se dovesse decidere di accettare questa crypto.

E la risposta alla fine è arrivata ma è riuscita a deludere tutti, forse voleva essere un battuta divertente, forse è stato un modo per prendere tempo per non dare una risposta concreta, fatto sta che l'azienda ha twittato che accetterà dogecoin solo se Tesla accetterà “Grimacecoin”.

Ma da dove viene questa finta crypto Grimacecoin?
Semplice, l'azienda ha rispolverato un vecchio personaggio chiamato Grimace, una creatura antropomorfa viola, utilizzato negli anni settanta dalla compagnia per le sue campagne pubblicitarie.

Ma la cosa buffa non è tutta la fantasia utilizzata da McDonald's per trovare una risposta simpatica per il tweet di Musk, ma il fato che in poche ore qualcuno ha pensato bene di creare davvero un token chiamato Grimacecoin su Binance Smart Chain e indovinate un po'?
In poche ore è salito del 261.000% prima di crollare.

Qualcuno in tutto questo scambio di Tweet ha davvero fatto un bel colpo!!

Se fossi in Burger King approfitterei del poco coraggio dimostrato dal suo avversario di sempre e comincerei a pensare di accettare qualche crypto, quelle che non richiedono troppe fee e che siano veloci nelle transazioni.
