I felt lucky - Imprinted by LightCaptured
I know many will feel lucky just because of the chance to see the Colosseum.
Guess what - this pleasant surprise, well, I'd rather call that a blessing - to be there, at the right time in the late afternoon, shortly before the sunset.
After the rain, a rainbow appeared for a few seconds.
My camera was ready.
I was ready.
A few seconds was all I needed ;)
Looking forward to my next travel to Rome!

I've been there too and honestly I found it disappointing. The gates, check-ups, the impossibility to have a look because of the crowds. The weather wasn't good either. At least you have a rainbow. 😁
Oh, right! We knew that to get inside is a pain so we just took a stroll around until it got dark so I take some long-exposure photos in the night :)
Time in never enough in Rome, right ;)
I went in and no need to wait long since my friend was in a wheelchair, it opens many doors still the best attraction was the violinist outside on the street. Trieste was way better.
I guess you were there just in time. Maybe the best time to take those photos. The rainbow is visible on the sky too.
