Crazy how many places and things are right under our noses where we live and we don't ever even know of their existence, lol!

I am surprised to read that skateboarding was not popular in Italy in the 90's - to my mind, that was the skateboarding era like BIG TIME - I just figured it was pretty big everywhere... but then again, perhaps that perception came from the USA and the fact that (especially back then) most of the media which we consumed was American. Who knows :)
