Learn Steemit || Part-6|| All About Delegation

Assalamu Alaikum

How is everyone? I hope you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing great. In today's post, we will talk about delegation. Delegation is a wonderful process on the Steem blockchain. Delegation means lending. Imagine you have $10, and your friend also has $10. Both of you want to buy a product, but you can't afford it individually. However, if you delegate $10 to your friend, it becomes $20, and your friend can easily buy the product.

You all know how important Steem Power is. The more Steem Power you have, the more income you can generate. But if you have only 1,000 SP, you may not be able to achieve much. However, if 10 people each have 1,000 SP and delegate them, it becomes 10,000 SP, which can benefit an entire community. That's why delegation is essential on Steemit.

Most of the Steemit community runs on the delegation process. Members who delegate receive votes based on the amount they delegate. Now, let's discuss how to delegate. Delegation can be done in two ways. One is through the Steemworld website, and the other is through the SteemPro app. However, I find that using the SteemPro app is the easiest method for delegation. First, log in to the SteemPro app using your active key.

Next, navigate to your wallet option. There, you will see three dots; click on them. Now, you can see to whom you have delegated in the past. To delegate to a new account, click on the right arrow.

Here, enter the username of the account you want to delegate to. Then, click on the Delegate option. That's it; delegation is done. You can withdraw delegation at any time, but it takes about 5 days for the delegation to return to your wallet.
