"Rural Lifestyle VS Urban Lifestyle??"
How are you all? I would like to know how everyone is doing. Alhamdulillah, I’m fine too. Today, I am glad to take on the “Rural Lifestyle VS Urban Lifestyle “ competition by @memamun within the Steem for Life Style community. In detail, what sets the two lifestyles apart, the advantages of each, and the complications created by the two will be discussed by me.

Urban life and rural lifestyle in general have their distinct characteristics and the major difference is all about stability and fluidity of resources. As far as I am concerned, urban life is stressful, have more facilities/amenities such as modern facilities, education facility, health facility, entertainment. There also would be variety of jobs and amenities that would make life more interesting, but again this comes with crowding, traffic jam and polluted environment.
On the other hand, rural life is calm, and it’s more natural since people deal directly with nature without struggling to survive as they do in urban areas. Rural life is usually healthier and more laid-back, folks can have more space, better air quality, and tight-knit neighbors. However, one might find that the rural zones do not have specific opportunities and services such as the latest health care or even amenities and, therefore, it is a bit tricky in this regard slightly.
As it has been said, both lifestyles are rather appealing, and the choice between them is more or less about a person’s choice – whether he or she prefers bustle of a big city or relative calm of a countryside.

As far as I am concerned, people’s behavior changes under the influence of urban and rural settings and pace. On that background, it is possible to make a conclusion that in urban life, people are more competitive, self-interested, and ambitious. Efficiency can turn into nervous speed, and people rush to build careers, achieve status, and produce new ideas. Interestingly, people often come into contact with each other, but relationships may be brief and informal all because people live in large cities and have many things to do.
On the other hand, country life inspires a more collective, laid back side of humans. Lives in rural places are typically closer in relation with the neighbors since towns are also small in terms of size. People work less and have more time to dedicate to the family so that family members always support each other. Generally rural people all over the world are known to live in small communities, they are more organized, simpler and are in a way more of nature’s children.
Thus, I can conclude that we learn to adapt according to our environment to be precise we adapt according to our nature. While city living makes us more competitive the countryside keeps us grounded and feeling like we’re part of a larger community.

For myself, I like rural area. That is why I like the atmosphere of the countryside, the absence of noise, the opportunity to be closer to nature. I enjoy the relaxed cultures of moving more slowly – spending time to be able to enjoy the day without having to worry about the haste and pressures of city life. Isolated from other people in the farm, people are more connected than in urban areas and hence I feel safer in the country area.In as much as people who live in urban areas have enhanced facilities, better job opportunities, and probably enhanced fun, I sometime feel that living in an urban area is a bit overwhelming. This might be a type of noise that inhibits one from gaining quiet and tranquility in the city since there is always noises, traffic and congestion. Frankly, I believe that unhurried tempo typical for country and rustic landscapes, as well as the closer-knit communities are good premiums for the more effective urban life. In my opinion, simplicity and serenity of country life as well as the feeling of being an important member of the communities in contrast to the comfort in the city are worth it.

At present, I reside in Jashore city where my husband is posted and he is a government officer. Now, while it is a city, it has fairly urban and fairly rural aspects to it – Jashore is the city in question. It has the luxury and facilities such as markets, schools and hospitals like the facilities found in other city like Dhaka but it has less huzzle and Buzz of city like Dhaka. That is why it is not as vibrant and always active like other cities to be honest, I like that the pace is a bit more laid back here. Although it’s very quiet and calm here in rural areas I am glad I have been able to have some chances and utilities in Jashore.
