SIZ contest|| My Travelling Experience as Student || 10% to @siz-official

Hello everyone.
I am very happy to be a participant in the contest organized by the SIZ community to share our travel memories with other members of the community. This is a great contest as each and every one of us must have visited a place before, either as a tourist or for a special purpose.

I am going to share my travel experiences as a student. Education is the possibility of keeping a person in places in search of knowledge. There are many lessons and educative experiences when one is travelling.

Thank God that for this tour a bunch of students were sent and it was not an individual project that would stress the individual. I remember as a university student, it was mandatory for all students to attend a field practicum as part of their academic work.

This was stressful as students were to be taken to places unknown for data collection and study of the environment. A team of 10 students was formed to study a particular area and collect some primary data from their own studies.
Alhamdullilah, we were a team of nine people, and we were sent to the upper high hills and low lands of the upper east region. This was my first time visiting and interacting with people of a different ethnicity.

The culture of the people

They claimed that we share cultural and behavioral traits. did not disagree with the people living around that place. I observed their tones when they were speaking and they were similar to my own language.

The model signifying their chief palace was attractive and a lovely one. It was built with mud and thatch, which makes its environment so conducive.

Visiting elephants in the bush

Elephants also live near dams where they fetch their water. We went to see those creatures as they might have been the first time some of us set our eyes on them. The team organized itself in the bush around the community's dam.We went and the elephants were far away, and they said we could not go any closer as they were not fenced in and could harm us.

We were also sent to another vast land where galamsey mining was done. We were restricted from sending certain gadgets into their main operation center when we reached there. So we left our phones and our bags far behind their fence.
