Yeah sure,
Basically, There are 2 main purposes of adding citric acid
- Improve the taste by adding some sourness.
- Increase the acidity of product. Because increasing the acidity will suppress the growth of bacterias.
And sodium benzoate protects the product from the attack of mould (fungus). If u dont want to preserve it for many months. Then there is no need to add sodium benzoate
