Curator Cat Says: Creativity Can Mean Many Things!
The original intent of my account here on Steemit, was that I was going to seek out and curate ”Artistic and Creative” content… at the time, centered on the fact that I held a major stake in the ”CreativeCoin” token, and would be able to leave artists and creatives a very nice upvote... in that currency.
Unfortunately, that token is no longer associated with our community, and the old ”Steem-Engine” where it was based doesn’t seem to get much activity anymore.
Anyway, I'm evaluating different ways to bring my little account back to life. I originally withdrew everything, thinking there was "no point," anymore, without my "core purpose."

One the possible directions is to simply write about things artistic and creative.
What I wanted to point out today, is that we must be mindful of not putting the concept of ”creativity” within too narrow a definition.
When you say ”creativity,” a lot of people think of artists, musicians and maybe craftspeople.
But there's a lot more to it than that. Things like creating your perfect Home Office space takes creativity. Designing a beautiful garden takes creativity. Setting up your kitchen so it is just perfect for your style of cooking takes creativity. Decorating your house takes creativity.
I even met a man once who was making a living simply from day trading over the counter common stocks. He had written his own software that tracked specific factors he was looking for, and his system was working well enough but he just let the computer run it and he was able to make $1000 to $1500 a month without even paying attention to what was going on. That, too, is a great example of creativity!
Helping the Hoomans with the laundry is DEFINITELY creative!
So remember to keep an open mind about what is considered creative. Pretty much anything you can invent or think up that is a new and better approach to something that's already been done before could be considered creative.
Something to keep in mind, before you declare to somebody who asks, ”Oh no, I'm not a creative person!”
Thanks for reading!
