I agree with you completely that dreams are the reflection of your own thoughts and the reflection of the things that you want to really achieve in your life.

There is nothing bad in it that your grandparents come into your dream. I think the reason behind it can be your love for them and devotion for missing your grandparents which reflects in the form of dream when you sleep
