Today I am posting for the third time this week in the Steemit S5/W6 Participation Challenge of Scouts y sus Amigos - my favorite game, here is an opportunity to introduce my favorite card game explaining all these rules and why I don't contribute to their spread. I wish you a good read.

Introduction:

The game of "Rummy" is considered one of the most famous card games played in Arab countries, especially in Tunisia, whether in homes, in cafes, or in sessions with friends included in the gameplay.

Once the "Rummy" cards are dealt to play, the tension builds and you see the players communicating through messages through glances and a few squeals of excitement, the playing cards on the table moving around cups of coffee and mint tea.

The game of "Rummy" is one of the most wonderful card games for entertainment and fun, and it is one of the card games that requires a clear strategy to play, as well as a strong memory to know the cards that have been played, and he also sometimes has to take risks to get the maximum possible points.

Rummy rules

The dealer must be chosen by drawing a card from among the playing cards randomly by all players, and the player who draws the card with the lowest value becomes the dealer.

The dealer arranges the cards randomly, then deals 14 cards to each player, and an additional card is given to the dealer. The rest of the cards are placed face down in the middle of the table and are considered the "reserve pile".

How to play rummy

The player seated to the left of the dealer goes first. A player draws a card from the playing stock or playing deck (the stack), and when the deck runs out of cards, the cards from the playing deck (the stack) are shuffled to form a new stock, and the last card on the draw pile is again placed face up.

The game aims to get rid of playing cards as quickly as possible, using the following three methods:

Merging cards:

• Collect 3 or more similar cards of several types, for example: the number 8 of the type (Heart ♥️), (Spade ♠️), (Cat ♣️) and (Diamond ♦️).

• Arrange 3 or more cards of the same suit in order, such as 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 of the suit (of spades ♠️).

• Fusion can only be used once during the game and is optional.

• The joker can be used as a substitute for the third card, and it can also be used as the fourth card.

• The player places the cards on the playing field as soon as they are ready.

The Liberation of the card:

A player can dispense with one of the cards he has in his hand by placing it on another player's cards on the playing surface, for example when a player places the number 8 of the type (heart ♥️), (spades ♠️) and (comes ♣️), and another player with number 8 of type (Dinary ♦️) can be added to the group on the playing field.

The layout of the cards is optional and there is no limit to the amount that can be used during the game.

Card elimination:

At the end of each round, each player must choose a card and add it to the draw pile.

Calculation of points:

When the cards end up in a player's hand, that player gets no points, and the total number of cards in the hand of each of the other players who landed melds on the ground is calculated and added to their points ( 11 points are added for each Ace (A) and 15 points for each Joker). 100 points are added to the account of any player who has not landed sets on the floor.

In the event that a player lowers all his cards at once without installing them on the groups of other players, all the points mentioned above are doubled before being added to the players' points.

At the end of the game, the player with the fewest points wins.
