Have you ever heard about ponzi schemes?
Ponzi schemes, in Indonesia I am no stranger to this method of fraud under the guise of business, I have heard about Ponzi schemes since 2018 when I was still a high school (SMA) student.
The existence of Ponzi schemes is because many people who want to get rich quickly are willing to spend money on a business that they have never studied. Usually people who are trapped in Ponzi schemes are people who are lazy about learning and only hear something profitable from other people's mouths.
Many of my classmates in high school were trapped in this Ponzi scheme, because the targets of this illicit business were high school students who were very easy to lie to.
Have you been offered to invest in any of these schemes?
The person who fell victim to this ponzi scheme was one of my good friends at school at that time and we are still close friends to this day, at that time he once invited me to join a business with this ponzi scheme.
However, after I studied this business and the profits provided were unreasonable with the capital we gave them, I immediately realized that this was an illicit business that would deceive its members.
Luckily, I was not tempted by the Ponzi scheme business which enabled me to survive this illegal business that wanted to take my money.
Do you know how to detect Ponzi schemes?
One easy way to detect a business with a Ponzi scheme is the existence of a referral system and multi-level marketing in the business. Almost all businesses that have elements of fraud must have a referral system and also multi-level marketing (MLM).
Try to imagine with a simple thought, if a business is run with a referral system or MLM, after we succeed in inviting everyone in the world to join the business, then the last person to enter this business will not get any profit because he or she doesn't can invite other people because he is the last to join.
Meanwhile, the people at the top continue to make profits when the members below them succeed in inviting other people to enter the business. If there is a business like this, I suggest you avoid it immediately because this is one of the characteristics of a Ponzi scheme.
Do you think Steemit is a ponzi scheme?
Of course steemit is not a Ponzi scheme, because steemit does not have a referral system and all of us who join steemit get profits here without having to spend capital, I think steemit is the greatest platform I have ever encountered in my life.
Apart from being able to benefit ourselves on this platform, we can also do charity for other people without having to spend money just by sharing our post rewards with charity accounts in each community.
Steemit has really made everyone's life better and happier which is in accordance with Steemit's main tagline, namely #steemforbetterlife.

Hola, amigo tienes mucha razón, la existencia de los esquemas ponzi se debe a que la idea de hacerse rico de manera fácil y sin hacer mucho esfuerzo es muy atractiva para las personas, por lo que es fácil caer en ello. Tienes razón, los esquemas ponzi aun están en vigencia debido a que existen muchas personas con la necesidad o el deseo de tener grandes ganancias en muy poco tiempo y de forma muy fácil, así que por esto es que siempre que sacan un proyecto de este tipo logran su cometido de estafar grandes sumas de dinero.

Que lamentable que tú amigo hay sido víctima de esta terrible estafa, porque como estudiante se tienen muchas necesidades, pero que bueno que tu hayas salido libre de él. Y si tiene razón lamentablemente este sistema lo diseñan de muchas formas pero para llegar a los más vulnerables y aunque es doloroso son muchos los que caen y pierden todos.
Tienes razón en Steemit podemos tener una mejor vida porque en Steemit no hay sistema piramidal ni Ponzi ni nada pero el estilo aqui todo es real y no hay maneras de que este sistema sea posible de llevar a cabo.
