Waking up from sleep before morning and carrying out my obligations as a Muslim is something that I routinely do every day, this is a form of obligation as gratitude for the breath that can still be enjoyed this morning. Even though the darkness of Dawn still covers the morning, it doesn't mean I have to go back to sleep. Activities will begin and become a daily routine as a form of responsibility as a teacher and head of the family, of course, everything goes normally as it should.
When the morning sun was already emitting a bluish-yellow color from the East, I had finished bathing and waited for breakfast time to arrive. Unlike the usual morning, for the next month, I have to provide breakfast myself, both for me and my family. This situation is caused by the wife who is still in the process of recovery after undergoing surgery to give birth to our 5th child about two weeks ago, practically she has not been able to move too heavily to do homework.
At 07.00 am western Indonesia time, I started to go to where I teach together with my two children. The weather was not so clear, there were still cloudy clouds that blanketed the sky this morning. It has been almost a month that rains regularly fall, either with small, medium, or heavy intensity. It is also not uncommon for heavy rain to occur in the morning, where activities sometimes become hampered by relatively heavy rainfall.
Arriving at school activities and also the teaching and learning process began at 07.25 am western Indonesia time, all students have begun to prepare in their respective classes. For this morning I have a teaching schedule that is not too on, two hours in the morning continued 2 hours before going home is an obligation that I must fulfill for this Thursday. In the process, all forms of learning that I provide as well as the learning process of students in the classroom went very well and full of enthusiasm, until approaching the time of Return arrived at around 12.20 noon western Indonesia time.
Once at home I immediately prepared to perform The Midday Prayer as a Muslim obligation, to then continue lunch with the family. After lunch, I could not rest because I had to do another obligation as a father, which was to take my two children to school. Zahra who is still in the 1st grade of elementary school has a school entrance time during the day, and every day I always drop her off at 13.25 noon western Indonesia time.
During the day driving Zahra to school I also took the time to go to a clothing store in the city of Lhokseumawe, the name of the area where I live. In the shopping center, I and 2 other colleagues deliberately filled the afternoon by looking for free patterned uniforms that we plan to use at an event that will be held by the school in the coming days. Last Saturday I and several other colleagues were looking for uniforms for us to buy, but due to the lack of availability of clothes that we wanted to buy, we had to look for other types of clothes.
In the afternoon after having lunch with my children I started by doing other activities, such as cleaning the house and praying Asr followed by bathing and picking up Zahra who was at school along with the time to take my first child Syifa to where he learned the Koran. While waiting for them to come home to learn the Koran, I relaxed for a moment in the City Square Lhokseumawe. Here I enjoy the atmosphere of the afternoon in the city center while waiting for the children to go home.
Long story short that night there was no other activity other than opening the laptop for a moment to do the verification task of the Season 5 Week 4 engagement Challenge contest on the Hot News Komuitas, I happened to be a MOD in the Hot News Community. They continued to play and joke with my children until one by one they began to fall asleep in their respective rooms. In the end, I also rested and took off all the fatigue in carrying out daily activities.
In the end, I also get a lesson every day, lessons and life experiences in the form of this reflection will lead me to become a better human being and wiser the next day. Sometimes life must be passed according to the pattern, this pattern will be formed well if you start it with gratitude and full of responsibility to live.
The dynamics that occur will feel easy to pass by always being aware of the responsibility, either as a worker or a family head. Just follow the pattern, arrange according to the pattern, and still be grateful for the pattern that will be produced. The journey of life is what has been in the past, what is happening, and what tomorrow will be. So do your best today, so that the day yesterday, today, and the next goes well according to the pattern.
