I delightful I wish to every of my Scout friend, and I'm so happy this community West chosen for the 17th season of this _Steemit Engagements Challenge_, its a big honour and a wonderful opportunity. I trust what scout communitycan give and i must testify that this week's contest topic is really exciting, see below my entry!!..

SBD literally Stands for Steem-Backed Dollars, this means that for every printed SBD, there are some amount of STEEM that also needs to be printed. There was a certain time Steem DOLLAR was pegged to $1 for rewards purposes, payments, cashing out, or even for buying of more steem as per your choice.!
When SBD price was rated at its normal peg of 1 USD, it wasn't a problem when Steem was higher than it. Like in the past times, when Steem price fell at a very low rate, it means that even the 19 Steem that was printed couldn't cover the 1 SBD. That could be a problem because it implies that STEEM can't be able to BACK the Steem-backed Dollar which means the system could possibly go into debt, and debt aint good.

Current, SBD is the talk of town in steemit, almost 58% of steemians that left the platformis back because the know and understand the worth of sbd. And the price rate of sbd has pumped to $5 but recently fall to $4.59, it has over $60,381,920 market cap, has trading volume of about $2,000,000 and has an increased rank of about #687.

HOW HAS THE ARRIVAL OF SBD INFLUENCED YOUR GROWTH? |

As SBD continues printing, i have targeted to earn more of it, then convert to Steem, and power up inorder to enhance my grow on rhe platform and my account too.
Before the arrival of sbd again, i was struggling to bounce back on steemit but then I was wondering how would I even be able to accomplish like 150 steem power in a month, with just only the native token 'steem'. I was pondering about this over and over time but then, when once the Steem dollar was flashed I was excited than it was removed and now I'm so happy it is fully back!.. at least now I can be able to use it for lots of purposes, even to do my power up and occupy maximum amount of steem before my birthday veing MAY.
DO YOU CONSIDER THAT IT IS BETTER TO RECEIVE REWARDS DIRECTLY IN STEEM or DO YOU PREFER THEM IN SBD? WHY? |

I rather prefer the SBD that is being initiated back to the platform, i feel so delighted and blessed having it back to the system.
Assuming my post was voted at $10, including the curators that will earn their rewards from the post payout, the only share i would get from the post could be just 8steem and 9steem power meanwhile if i t be that it's paying out in sbd, converting to that same steem would be higher.

Sbd have been of a very huge benefit to me ever since it was initiated back. Specifically speaking, there have been an announcement concerning the bull run this month. So? Ever since the sbd have been dropping, i have maintained my club and cash out 50% of my earning to participate in the upcoming bull run.
As i convert and power up, i will hit 300Sp
And congratulations to me because I will be hitting back 300 SP after so much struggle on how to reach it before April ends. Bouncing back to steemit to jam this wonderful moment will put smile on my face more, and to my family who are into it and my friends too.
In Conclusion:
There's nothing that gives more joy in this platform other than SBD. Ever since it was brought back, i can see the effective indulgence of the hard work of steemians. It's really good to feel good and sbd has made us that way.

I really enjoyed your post because it is s well detailed dear. I must say that am one of the steemians enjoying SBD although I don't get much but I will keep on trying my best to accumulate alot.
