SEC-S10W6 | Teach Me How To Do Something With My Hands
Greetings Steemians!
It's another day to participate in Steemit Engagement Challenge season 10 of week 6 and I am pleased to share my entry in this community.
This week comes with an interesting theme which is very easy for everyone to take part. I will teach you how to do something with your hands today and it will be a very useful tutorial.
In life, everyone always look for what is faster, cheaper and easy for them without paying attention to the health benefits in terms of food.
I will show you all one of the easier and best way to fry groundnut and make it sweeter. Most people use oven to dry groundnut by just letting the peel go off but today, I will show you how you can do that and also give your groundnut a better taste than the usual.
Let's see what we need to achieve this;
Utensil and Ingredients Needed |
---|
- Frying pan
- Wooden spatula
- Tray
- Bowl
- Water
- Salt
- Groundnut and
- Garri
Preparation Process |
---|
Step 1: the first thing to do is pouring the groundnuts into a bowl of water and wash it.
Washing process |
---|
Step 2: allow the water to drain out
Step 3: pour it into a tray and sprinkle salt on it before sun drying
Setting for sun dry |
---|
Step 4: leave it at least 5 hours to dry properly
Step 5: put a little garri in the pan, heat it up before pouring your groundnut. Stir gently till the groundnut dries and the peel starts going off with ease.
Frying process |
---|
Step 6:After separating the groundnut from garri, pour it out to cool and start peeling it with your hands.
Peeling process |
---|
Select the peels from the edible parts, put it into an airtight container for use.
Groundnut ready to be consumed |
---|
Now see the benefits of consuming groundnuts
- Good for brain and heart health
- Hinders the risk of cardiovascular disease
- it boosts the memory and fight depression.
Hope you like the method I used in frying my groundnut?
